Racism- Use this all the itme when someone disagree with you
Climate change- Reduce the living standard of the US
Healthcare- Lets ruin a model than worked great for 90% of Americans for the 10% who could care less about buying it and then tax those 90% to pay for it.. Simply Brilliant.

Here is the kicker from the rubes:They hate the government with the line "less government is better" and when the government shuts down they should be celebrating in the streets but instead they want to blame the other side with the lines "you hate children and service members because you are unwilling to provide the government with the power to provide a socialist safety net for children and socialist military spending and therefore you hate the USA."

Might be but his post is 100% fact. Most of our WW2 vets were Democrats. There's more vets too in general, that are center right-center left on the ideological scale. A lot vote Republican, but aren't right wing conservatives

Right after 9/11 everyone one of our new "conscientious objectors" or people who were suddenly gay in my unit were all democrats. All were actually frothy mouthed lunatic anti Bush types still upset Gore lost.

Most people pre Vietnam were conservative. Modern liberalism was born out of the Vietnam era, radioactive fallout from WW2, and estrogen making it into the water supply via birth control.

Nope. That's a false narrative that idiot conservatives have bought into in recent years. Neither Truman nor JFK would ever align themselves with the Republican party.

Wrong. Most people weren't conservative. It's actually what is called classic liberalism, which BTW, was the prevailing ideology among our founding fathers

Classical liberalism still exists but not as prevalent in today's social media world.

That is why I said modern liberalism. Modern liberalism is a hodgepodge of socialism and communism. Before the Vietnam era most people were socially conservative. When this country was founded equality and freedom for all still only meant White males.

The modern male liberal is the product of an overabundance of estrogen in the water supply. How else can you explain them? :birgits_giggle:

Every democrat before Obama would literally be a Republican now. Thats why I enjoy watching ol' Bubba Clinton back peddle now on literally every policy he ever had during his 8 years.

And its not a conservative idea..its what idiot democrats say to try and rationalize their parties history of violence and terrorism..

That is such a weak argument. It's really a point against yourself and your side. Clinton and Carter are still alive. I don't see them voting for and supporting repubs. That's because they CHANGE OVER TIME, as do most people. What your point is truly highlighting is that repubs. have always been around 30 - 40 years behind democrats on the change continuum. The beliefs of repubs. today were the beliefs of dems. 30 years ago.
The beliefs of dems. today, will be the beliefs of repubs. in 30 years.

Follow the history of mankind. You may notice a trend.
