We've gone from Mexico building a $25 billion wall from coast to coast, to Congress funding $20 billion, to Congress funding $5.7 billion, to Congress funding a tad over $ 1 billion , which will build about 50 miles. And then Trump will scrounge a little more here and there. It will be over a year before a shovel breaks ground, and even then it's a tiny fraction of a fraction of his campaign promise.

my point was the drug cartels in general. I think having the military run down that aspect would be a better use of their time if they are on the border. Not sure how Private Gump on border patrol is suddenly going to be hacking computers and cell phones to gather intel on the cartels away from the border. Also seems a lot better of a legal standing. less chance of them snooping on a citizen without warrant, whatever that one law on the uses of the military on the public is, and so on. I would think hunting terrorists, common training for the last two decades, would be similar to hunting drug cartels across a border.

Private Gump is not going to track down any info on cartels no matter where they are.

You are unaware of what happened before the negotiations and how it all came together. Congress both R's and D's actually talked to the people in the know about border security. There is plenty of work to be done in other areas (Tech and manpower) to achieve border security

I am aware of what she told the public when she made her stand . So that whole line about Pelosi doing this or that to Trump won’t work after you say not one $ goes to wall funding then you back down and give in . The spin cycle you got the washer on is strong .
