Started a franchise while I waited for the wife. Lost 4-3 to the nats on opening day.

Had solo bombs from uggla and heyward.

I'm probably the only player in history who can have 3 10 game hit streaks in a season, and still hit .262. Combine that with the fact that I have the hands of a blacksmith at 2B, I'm just glad the Angels farm system sucks in the infield.

An online franchise maybe possible again with becoming a PSN Plus Subscriber... $50 for 15 months (3 months free). Only downfall would be user vs user games. The only way I see that working would be swapping games or series between human opponents. For league play I would say swap series but for an occasional interaleague play I would swap games. Trust me money is very very tight but I would consider it if others joined in. However, with all that said I will not buy it till I have confirmation that it works with the show franchise file.

Well now I am reading that it does not share and others are saying it does. I guess time will tell...

Ok... I think I have figured it out now. PSN Plus Subscriber is only one way, meaning, you can upload file saves so you can back them up. So it appears a group of people will now create another PSN account (group/shared), subscribe to plus, and log into that account once it is time for you to play your game.

seems like a **** ton of effort. wouldn't be able to play head to head games either, correct?

Correct, no human vs human... only benefit would cumulative stats from user teams trades etc...

I would say a week, maybe 2. There are 1500 players to edit, and they are going down to making faces close to accurate, batting stances, ratings/projected ratings and stuff.

Seems like a ton of work, I sure wouldn't do it.

The no dynasty thing reminds me of Madden with no working dynasty either. I havent played this game i will get it closer to end of the month the ability to not be able to do a dynasty does suck though.The main reason its not a opening day purchase for me is i get bored with SP but there is no doubt this game looks unreal. MLB is a decent game but there is no way it gets close to this.

You can play a multiplayer season still, they made it so you don't need a ****load of humans now either. Still haven't played online yet.
