Well, at least they are getting closer adding AI controlled teams to the mix. Maybe by MLB The Show '29 we can have an online franchise.

Online play has always played 2nd fiddle with the series, which is fine, but their setup and "improvements" for online are laughable.

well it wouldn't be to bad if we had a 8 team limit and got 6 people from here to play and have two divisions with 4 teams in each with 2 CPU teams. The one i set up today was a 3 game series between each opponent and 30 game season at 5 weeks and i think it ended up being avg of 6 games a week. Like yal im not big on the online play either and it sounds like the league play is just as bad but id like to try it out and see.

I have been doing my free chance at the challenge of the week. How the heck those guys score in the millions is crazy considering I only score maybe 10 thousand

Wow I won an online game. I struck out 18 times though I had 3 hits an hit two hr with dan johnson

in my first season for the rays we finished last in division this year (2014) we are 10 and 21 so i have been asking for a trade every chance I get. Every one is a made up player, were so bad our best player is josh willingham. So when you get promoted its prolly gonna be just as bad

The fact that they totally failed with roster logic in the 4th-6th (arbitration) seasons on player's contracts is just a coat hanger abortion.

Hopefully they fix it in the next patch, or the franchise mode is a total waste of time.

I know it. The mets on my rtts have longoria, reyes, rolen, granderson, fielder, and have bucholtz, liriano and k-rod while im stuck with in comparison to their team, t-ballers

The issue is with teams not tendering offers before a players 4th MLB season, as they pretty much do always. So a guy like Bucholz, as opposed to either accepting the tender or playing a year at arbitration salary (just an example, someone like that would normally be signed to a longer deal anyhow), the club non tenders, so every player in the game will become a free agent after they complete their 3d MLB year.

Same **** as last year, they swear up and down they tested it through 2099 when they checked the final build, obviously they're full of crap. It's a damn shame as the game is great in every other facet on the single player end, but total BS as far as roster management goes.

I have friends who come over who always wanna play so last night I bought the classic stadiums and we played at polo grounds. How many inside the park homers you guess they hit there back in the day.

Yeah, it be much more fun playing alongside players you know. It is pitiful that they did this again this year, there is also so much more they could have done.I just dont want it turnin into ncaa football the same thing every year just updated rosters and stadium changes.

The gameplay is alot better than last year, overall it's a big improvement, but they are just shoveling lots of small things from year to year that have been broken since 09.

Well since they took the restrictions off league play im gonna startone and just try it out and see just how bad it really is lol if anyone wants to join

I was really forcing the issue in AAA trying to do too much. Anyways I'm in the majors now and I've settled down a bit. I'm picking up the ball a lot better

I just started my MLB season, it's hit or miss. Just hate playing for the Rays, having a hard time getting into it, really.

I am still in AAA but I am very close to the majors. I hit all my goals and they did not have an open. However, my next goals set around the AAA allstar game and futures game which I played in but stats did not count... I had two weeks and had to collect 38 bases and 15 rbi in nine damn games. The second week only had three games. Needless to say I did not get my goals, so now I am on the bench.

They need to make the goals aware of allstar break.

I was similar, I got the bat on everything but didn't do anything with it.

My problem is I hit alot of crappy pitches that I could likely take for balls.

My past two seasons have been nothing but injuries. Im already in 2017 after having to simulate most all of the 15' and 16' seasons. Im startin to get better with batting using the analog stick though
