it does effect me, it's normalizing an immoral lifestyle, they are forcing it on kids in school and demanding that lifestyle be praised. so yes, it does effect me and society.

Now I do have a problem when the courts determine it's the government's right to step in and force private businesses to serve said patrons. And said patrons getting a payday on said business's account when it's said and done. It's not the government's job to get involved in such things.

I'm definitely a sucker for science.

Look, it's perfectly reasonable to be skeptical about the level of human impact on climate change. To claim climate change is some grand hoax is an entirely different deal. Humanity's role in CC shouldn't dictate whether we throw our hands up and "oh, well" it or bury our heads when we might have the means to slow or minimize. Hell, at the very least we should be working on contingencies/risk mitigation.

Seems we that consistently outkick our coverage are the picture posters more often than not. I'm so confused. Just a week ago Trump assured us all that it was definitely NOT the Russians behind the hacking, and he had evidence of that and would share it.

He has not done so, and so far, each of his nominees appearing before the Senate says they are convinced it was the Russians.

I've never seen anyone praise the lifestyle. I have seen teachers say that kids cannot bully a child because that child is gay. Allowing gays equal rights and to marry does not effect you in the slightest.

Pedophilia is the absolute worst comparison. Might as well compare serial killers to gays.

I am with GV on not forcing businesses to serve anyone. However, he and I probably part company because I believe that businesses should not be allowed to discriminate with regards to race, religion, sexual orientation etc with regards to hiring or promoting. The reason is that in order to not serve gays, one has to proudly announce that intention. This allows the free market to work. The preference of the business is known. Hiring and retention practices can be handled without any fanfare. The public may never be aware of the views of the business owner. This prevents the free market from assessing these practices.
