Jason Witten? 6 catches today...in his 14TH SEASON

1,000 catches 11,000 yards 60 TDs and counting

Is Witten the second greatest Vol to play in The NFL? What obvious players am I forgetting?

Duh, of course 15 seasons 13 pro bowls.

Witten 13 seasons and 10 pro bowls coming into this year

I feel like there's another obvious candidate I'm blanking on

I wouldn't use pro bowls as the measure of NFL success. Especially in today's era. Look at the pro bowl QB's last year.

Doug Atkins is 1st. I saw him play and White play. Very few things happened around Atkins, he had to go find action a lot of the time.

Wow, played 17 seasons. Would be interesting to see accurate tackles and his number of sacks if they'd counted back then

Like everyone else here, I would say Peyton, Reggie and Doug are definitely on this particular Mount Rushmore.

Witten is definitely working his way into the conversation, but I don't know if he'll ever quite get there. I kind of think Witten belongs more in the same category with guys like John Bruhin, Deon Grant, Dale Carter, Carl Pickens, Chad Clifton, Bruce Wilkerson, Tim Irwin, Raleigh McKenzie, Willie Gault, Tim McGee, Stanley Morgan, Hacksaw Reynolds, Chuck Smith...probably a few others I'm missing.
