The 1st game against W KY gave everyone false hopes about the Vols this year, the 2nd game against UCLA showed TN glaring weaknesses, the 3rd game proved the Vols CAN play in a big game, and the 4th game brought everyone back down to earth again.

This week against Auburn is critical. TN needs to start the rest of the SEC season on a winning note. It is very possible that FL will lose 2 SEC games this year, even with their weak schedule. They still have to play LSU,Georgia, and S.Carolina.

Depending on how they play against Auburn,TN could conceivably win the rest of their games, with the exception of 'Bama. I see 'Bama winning it all this year.

GO VOLS!

This is definitely a pivitol game. I know we're 2-2, but I also feel that this is the game that truly starts our season. And it's funny, if we play everyone like we played FL, we could be in for a good year. If we play everyone like we played Ohio, we could be in for a long year. It's exciting when I think of what we're CAPABLE of.

Looks like you need to be brought down to Earth a little bit more. I'm as big a Vols fan as anyone on this board, but there is a very slim chance we win the rest of our games this year. People tend to forget that this year is a re-building year. 2011 starts the return of Volunteer football to the top of the mountain. Go Vols!!

There are probably 25 Div I football teams with that slogan written on their BB board this week.

Meh... I suppose anything's possible. IMO UF was the UT Super Bowl. It was the game the coaches and players worked all summer on and it showed. We played well, but it is damn hard to play with that kind of intensity week in and week out. I think we will see quite a few more UCLA and Ohio-like performances from this team. Could UT win out... Sure... even beat Bama. Will they, probably not.

I just hope CLK can keep the wheels on if we happen to lose to Auburn. I truly would like to avoid a total and complete meltdown like we experienced last year. Readings threads about Jones "going TO" makes me really wonder if UT would implode after this loss.

I bought 16 tickets from your ticket office because you cant sell out for an SEC game. We will have 12,000 or so there since we are buying up all yalls tickets for this game. :)

Your ticket office told me that they havn't seen so many visiting fans buy tickets. We sell out all of our SEC games...why cant you guys? Just sayin..and by the way without 5 starters in your defense how do you plan on stopping our offense...load the box and Darvin and Zachary will burn you deep....play for the pass and we run it down your throat.

we'll see my friend. all i know is that we are by far the fastest and most talented team you have played so far, and neyland may, just may, be a bit more hostile than your home field. i hope your team brings that over confident attitude into knoxville bc our coached will have a great gameplan for AU much like we did for florida.

no we added suites and what not to the sidelines. and there is no way in hell that jordan hare is louder than neyland when your OFFENSE is on the field. good call bud but i dont think it matters how loud your stadium is when you are playing at ours

Nope - they just put in more luxury boxes, seats, concourse, etc.

did you create an account on our board like 3 days ago just to bless us with your presence for the week?

Based on the fact that he graduated from Auburn in business, he probably just now got his first computer.

our business school is first class. We have a running stock exchange in our business building. I think its funny what you people think of auburn. Auburn has almost 70,000 people living there and its more urbanized than some of you guys can fathom. Ive lived here for 5 years and its ridiculous. I have the same feeling about this game as I did in 2004. Thats bad news and means everyone should stay home instead of leaving at halftime
