Lulz. No. I live about 25 miles from a good beach. I live only about 6 miles from the ocean as the crow flies though. Too hot to run outside right now. Heat indexes upward of 120 degrees.

Gotta be careful in that kind of weather. Can hurt you in a heartbeat.

3.5 trail run today. First two miles where under seven minute miles. Last mile and half I blew up

Gave my calves almost a week off and tried to make sure I was drinking at least 3/4 of a gallon of water a day.

Ran today and got my best mile ever - 9:31.
Walked a half mile and then bettered my mile again to 9:02.

Very good day for me.

Thanks I didn't rush and it made all the difference. I guess I should have been taking my own advice about pacing. I think pushing myself to be fast messed up my run these past few weeks and burned me out.

been forever since I got to really run. 4.2 miles in 31:45. A little slow, but I finished with a big hill so i blame that. I was around a 7:20 pace before it.
