That is the middle of nowhere.

I'm about 2 hrs from there in Roanoke. Danville has a nice trail system called Anglers Ridge. If you get a chance you should check it out.

ah, yeah Roanoke is about an hour and a half away, maybe closer depending on traffic on HWY 40 by Smith Mountain Lake. Back when they first moved out here and I was still in JC, I'd take I-81 to Roanoke to get here.

Thanks for the info on Angler's Ridge. I'm probably up here once a month since they are only about two hours away from me at Ft Bragg, I'll have to check it out.
 
Thrasher and Peach doin' work. Took Friday through Monday off since I was in Indy. Going to get back into the saddle today after work. Hopefully that rest will help my legs feel some what refreshed.
 
anyone in here do Tabata workouts and, if so, how do you do it?

This morning I did 8 sets of:

20 seconds push ups
10 seconds rest
20 seconds full range sit ups
10 seconds rest
20 seconds mountain climbers
10 seconds rest
20 seconds squats

I also did 20 pullups before and after.

Tonight I'm hoping to work stairs with my run.

I used to do something similar after my runs but never did that many sets.

Yessir. But took Tuesday off because I had some back/shoulder pain from hitting some golf balls this weekend. It's amazing how many muscles I used that day. I will be returning hopefully tonight. Going for 4.
 
My internet has been down since last Tuesday, it's taken an act of congress to get comcast out here to fix it. Last weeks total was 29.3 miles. I just finished up with 4 for today.

Weekly Total: 12.5 Miles
