The Runner's thread

Old or new Apple earphones? The new ones are 100% better.

I attempted to use the ones that came with my iPhone 4. So they are the older version. This was when I was between headphones so it's all I had. I don't think I would spend that much money on the new ones. I go through headphones like water but I'm sure they're better.

I've been waiting as late as 7 or 8pm to go running. The humidity is going to get ridiculous. Nice pace speed racer :)

I have been going right after work because my son has been having tee ball games between 6 and 7. Tee ball is almost over now so I may start waiting and go later.

Thanks! Now if I could just average that pace over a half marathon.

Use mine all the time and they hold up well. I'm a sweater too.

I would love to do a half marathon. Most I've done is a 10K. Working my way there...

I'm running the Knoxville Expo 10k tomorrow morning.

Been struggling a little with the humidity on my runs recently, but the weather looks perfect for this race... should be right at 50 degrees :dance2:

first day back from a nasty ingrown toenail that made it tough to walk on my foot yet alone run on it. Planned on a six mile journey through the farmlands around my parents' land up here in VA, but I took a wrong turn and it turned into 9.5. Wasn't ready for that. Especially a 247.4 ft incline over 2 miles during the midway point (I checked it out on mapmyrun afterwards). My body needed it though, so I won't complain.

where in VA are you?

the middle of nowhere.

Ok, just north of Danville, little town called Java, VA. It's the area they film the show "Moonshiners" in, no joke. Where are you?

That is the middle of nowhere.

I'm about 2 hrs from there in Roanoke. Danville has a nice trail system called Anglers Ridge. If you get a chance you should check it out.
