Golden
Maymon
Swiper (1st 3 min.)

Bring in either Hall or McRae or McBee, depending on who we play and how we match-up

With the way hall is developing we have to keep starting him... I think stokes needs to come off the bench all season because hall has looked really good the past two games and maymon is our best player

I am not saying the OP presents a poor question at all but CM is showing me that discussing rotations is very unpredictable. Today Richardson,Tatum, and Mcrae all played the point. I don't think anyone on here would have ever guessed that Tatum or Mcrae would play there all year much less today.

That's because we only have one pg. Washpun would have been ate up by KY press today. I doubt we see much of him the rest of the year.

no
halls been coming off the bench and playing better.

Agreed but it sure seems to me that RW is the guy that is going to see his minutes diminish greatly. If that is true do you see him continuing to start or Stokes/Hall entering the starting lineup?

Stokes isn't ready to start yet IMO due to conditioning mostly so the question is stated with the short term in mind.

I hate to see CM give up on him. He did struggle mightily against the FL press but I hope we can find him some spots he can succeed in. He needs to play in certain situations IMO.

No when stokes is ready he will start at pf and maymon will start at c. Hall will come off the bench as he has been and they will run a 3 man rotation in the post between those 3.

As far as Woolridge he would seem the odd man out, ccm likes him though so I don't see him getting no minutes. My guess is Woolridge and tatum both lose minutes and split time at sf. Their loss of minutes is where stokes minutes will come from.

So who starts wed night?

It seems odd to me to start RW and him have the least minutes of the four post guy.

Look if Kenny plays better off the bench who cares ya start Woolridge and bring Kenny in later in the game not that big of a deal. Woolridge or hall won't be starting soon anyways.

I agree. We seem to have similar opinions on everything but RW at the SF spot. I really hope he can continue to help. He seems to be a great kid and I really want to see him succeed.

I have never bought into the a player plays better coming off the bench mentality. The time I do think it has some validity is if a kid adds some energy on the defensive end thus energizes the team but in Halls case I see his emergence more so as a growing confidence than when he enters a game. JMO

Did you watch Jp prince as the 6th man of the year or cam excell in that roll in years past? Apparently not

What are you suggesting with Woolridge? Don't play him at all?

JP was exactly the guy I described with the defensive presence. He was always going to cause a few TO and add energy in that way. Jsmith was even better as a 6th man. Hall doesn't offer that. My point was the 6th man effects the team play more than the individual play IMO. Smith/Prince/Hall all would have been the same players as starters IMO.

It's hard for a big man to really have that effect on the team and I'm not saying he's a 6th man what I'm saying is he's better off the bench than starting. You had stated people aren't usually more effective off the bench in saying some are. Another player for you would be Brian Williams last year became much better when coming off the bench. I don't have an explanation that is just the way that some guys are.

RW will take on the role of Yemi in the very near future. A few spot minutes here and there. Imo
Posted via VolNation Mobile

No. Yemi's minutes are gone to stokes those minutes aren't available anymore. How many minutes would you like maymon stokes hall to each play? They only play 2 positions that's 80 minutes divided by 3 players is about 26 minutes. Stokes and maymon require more than this for how dominant they can be so hall losing a couple minutes.
