If Dooley hadn't kicked Janzen off of our defense and Da'Rick off of our offense we'd be going into this Alabama game at 5-1. With Da'Rick, Justin and Cordarrelle we would've had the undisputed top receiving corps in the conference and country, especially in terms of NFL potential. Bray is still reckless with his decision making but having at least 1 of those 3 playmakers open on every play would make an immense difference. 2 great WR's can be covered, 3 cannot. Dooley needs to realize that the only thing which matters is winning games. Who gives two ****s about a little recreational reefer, if it helped Rogers and Jackson remember the playbook then it did what I'd expect it to. We need to stop being humanitarians and start being a handful again, which starts with Bray sharpening up and Dooley loosening the reigns. The best programs moderate but don't "puppet string" players. Dooley shot us, and our best chance at a 9 win season in 5 years, in the foot before it even started. This is what Tennessee football has become.

Janzen would have left after last season either way. Da'rick has nobody to blame but himself. Sure , it would be nice to have all the players we have lost/kicked off. Including Computer Clear. Fact is , they aren't here , and won't be here. The problem isn't who isn't here. It's who is. And I'm not taking about the players.

Think maybe you should change your name to "Misguided Missile". I applaud Dooley for kicking them out. But I'm afraid it time for Dooley to be kicked out.

The only game I see we can win (for sure) is Kentucky. Seriously !! Not sure we can beat Troy or Vandy !! Sorry folks, just being honest.

Really feel we could entice Charlie Strong to come to Tennessee. Doubt Gruden would want the job.

I'm convinced that the root of the problem is Karma. Somewhere along the line, we pissed the football gods off. This has just been a total and complete s***storm since '08. I don't think Da'Rick and Janzen's peace pipes would change all that much in the grand scheme of things. Janzen would've left by now anyway.

Would having him here help us tackle or cover recievers on D Would it help our backs hit the right hole. There is definently something that smells in Denmark and Jantzen and Darick would not cover it up. However Cam might have been able to confiscate it.

This is telling:
One Bulldog player — center Stephen Warner — says the coaching switch helped off the field as well as on.

“There was such a big change. Coach Dykes is a whole lot more personable than Coach Dooley was. He’s a guy who’s going to ask you how you’re doing when he passes you in the hallway, instead of not knowing who you are…

And our whole attitude is just better. Anyone on this team would lay down whatever it took for this program. That’s a lot different from the way it was a few years ago — from ‘it’s about me’ to ‘it’s about us.’”

I'm so sick of the fantasy land scenarios some Vol fans make up to make themselves feel better. "If this" we'd have beaten UF last year, "if that" we'd be 6-0 right now.

Just stop.
