I debated doing this thread this year as last year none of the changes to The Rock from week to week were real noteworthy.
That said, when I looked this week I see a new person has gotten involved - one Cole Davis.
Cole seems to be a really good artist, so I'll start this thread and see where it goes from week to week as the season progresses.

Here is week one versus Syracuse:

Looks like some gameday shenanigans getting ready to happen - multiple ladders sighted on-site and back has been painted over...

Also, I now know when the POTSB goes to practice...HAHAHA
I'll try to check in tomorrow morning for an update, but can't promise as the wife and I have to go drop rental car, sign papers on new car, and get some groceries in time to get back for 3:30 kickoff - going to be a busy, hectic day !!!

Missed Week 2 - nothing really changed for the ETSU game.

Week 3 has seen a couple of paint overs, and this is the current decoration.

I'm all for Sisterhood and such, but this is Wednesday of game week when College Game Day is coming to campus !!!
Really hope someone gets motivated and changes it up before Saturday...

Could you keep a running update at the top of the thread, just add the newest image to the top and then we can see all of them as each week goes by?

Hadn't thought about doing that - great idea.
I've edited the original post to show week 1 and 3 - was no change for week 2 vs ETSU...THANKS !!!

I'm not sure.
At one time on the website that hosts the live stream, there were 'rules' about content and the committee body that 'approved' content or gave permission.
i don't see that content any longer.

I don't think this was enforceable as it's public property and really painting the rock is just a form of graffiti / vandalism that is looked on favorably, much like a mural in a public park.
I'm kind of concerned about this week's creation because ESPN and SEC Network have been known to send their own artists or hire local artists to pain the rock in years past.
that said, maybe they searched Cole Davis out and compensated him this year.
