I got to see Dillinger Eacape Plan on their final tour ever. Not really a fan of theirs but the live show is good.

I got to mosh with somebody in one of those inflatable T-Rex costumes.

I enjoy it. They'll never be able to make another Subterranean or Jester Race so might as well do this type of stuff instead.

Subterranean is one of my favorite albums of all time. I was only listening to American metal when that came out and was like WTF this is awesome!

Really digging this band at the moment... they draw a lot of influence from Rush/Dream Theater but spare the listener from cheesy lyrics and high pitched vocals, thankfully. All instrumental.

Another Prog Metal band sans the fairy vocals/lyrics: Animals as Leaders. These guys have a ton of crazy s#%t, just getting into them as well.

I got 3 "vintage" Metallica t-shirts for Christmas. 2 from the 80s (Ride th Lightning and Master of Puppets) and a 1999 tour shirt.

That sounds like Meshugga combined with Steve Vai. Interesting stuff.

I saw them at the Valarium the first time they came to Knoxville after releasing their first album. I was the only one in the room who cheered when Tosin announced the next song: CAFO
