Rumor is Joey J may get the gigSo far I'm digging both of the newly released Disturbed songs. I already pre-ordered their album. I'm glad they're back.
And Avenged Sevenfold fired their drummer. I guess he's the scapegoat for that last album, though it did go Gold but wasn't received very well by fans.
LOL I feel you on that. I had a friends dad that would by albums like Manson, Cannibal Corspe, Pantera, Korn, Metallica, and Deicide for me because my parents were hardcore Jesus Freaks at the time. They wouldn't even buy me Alice in Chains and Soundgarden albumsThat's funny, Pantera and Metallica turned me into a metal fan. The local college radio station would have a metal show every Friday night and when I was about 13 I turned it over to it and they played "Cowboys From Hell" followed by "One". I wasn't able to get any of their CDs until I was 16 but I remember the day I drove to the mall and picked up 2 Pantera CDs and 3 Metallica CDs.
The best part, the guys I was thick as thieves with at the time were all going through the "Jesus Freak" phase and ALL they listened to was Christian rock and pop. Imagine their shock when I picked them up listening to "devil music".

Had a similar experience with a friend listening to A Perfect Circle's Judith. We were riding to get beer and when the line f*** your God came on he literally told me to stop the track. When I refused he got all pissed and told me to let him out of the truck. LOL I changed the track and we got drunk later that night. LMAO people can be so strange. One of my college friend stopped talking to me for 2 weeks because he was (still is I think) only in to Christian pop (Michael W. Smith type bullcrap), and I was playing "Man in the Box" by AIC, and when he heard the part of the chorus that said "Jesus Christ....deny your maker", he got all upset. I asked what's wrong and he asked me why I was listening to blasphemy. I honestly thought he was just joking, because by then AIC was very well known (actually it was around the time Staley checked out of the limelight).
So I said "Oh here, this is better" and I played Metallica's cover of "So What" and he got enraged and left.
