I bet you was one of those people last week saying we could finish 9-3 or 8-4 and this week what is it 8-4 or 7-5 ? This coaching staff sucks period, you can defend them all you want but you have no facts to back anything up for this staff to remain here,

I love all these ideas about firing the fanbase. That big empty stadium will be so impressive to recruits.

On second thought, no need to fire them. They might stop buying tickets on their own.

I could go on and on but you guys don't care.

Let the AD and powers that be figure it out but this crap doesn't scream to Green to commit.

How is it "hard enough" to bring players to Tennessee? Do you think we have a 100k seat stadium, top ten all-time program, as many players in the NFL as any school outside of Miami and FSU, and all of those SEC titles by accepting mediocrity? Watching videos better is not the answer.

This is not bad for recruiting.....losing every SEC game in 3 yrs is bad for recruiting.
Besides ole miss, vandy (who will probably win this yr)and ky....and don't get me started with that one.
We couldn't beat LA Tech right now.......that's what recruits want. To play for a winning football program. The only recruits that go to a losing program are the ones who weren't good enough for other programs.....yes we land one or two good ones, but the majority are leftovers that end up on our plate because there's no one else interested in playing for losers with a horrible HC......be mad all day, but facts are facts.

I had just commented last week to a friend about the egging on the Georgia linebackers place and said 'Heck we don't even take our loses that hard'. Guess I was wrong. Back the coach or not, to see this done to a symbol for Tennessee football is embarrassing and as if losing games like this isn't bad enough for these young guys out there busting it on the field trying to win, I can only imagine how they feel after seeing this.

And fwiw, I have been one who supported Dooley and thought he should've been given more time. Last couple weeks have me questioning that. Still not sure what direction is best for us atm but hope we figure it out soon and get back to winning.

Yeah Mr Big Name Coach!!... Come coach for us!... Look at how we'll treat you if can't get it done.

Stuff like this is a snowball effect.. The players see it... kills moral.. Coaches see it, kills moral... Recruits see it, makes them think we're a dumpster fire.. This whole situation has Bad written all over it. That relatively small signage we call the Rock is the biggest billboard in Knoxville..

I bet big time coaches couldn't care less about the rock. For one, they don't think they will ever be in the position Dooley is in now. They have healthy doses of narcissism and expect to come and win. Maybe not immediately, but I bet none of them would imagine having a losing record after 2.5 years. I bet they understand fans (students) being upset with a losing coach. Just a hunch.

....And, there's the rub! It appears they aren't doing the job, or our team is the biggest sack of hammers recruited. IMHO

Agree! I was going to post similar. A nice paycheck, some decent talent already present on the team (that some coaches probably wish they had in their stable), and a rabid fan base. Sounds like a job many would jump at.

It will be alot less stable when Dooley is actually fired.

Who cares, if the new coach can sell it won't matter at all.

The only way this hurts recruiting is if Dooley actually remains head coach.

Which brings us back to the rock.

Final Verdict: Not stupid.
