I would spend half my money to get rid of the guy, I can't imagine I would feel different if I were rich so it seems pretty believable.

And was the reason that the boosters wouldn't open their bank accounts. They have now brought in their guy to hire the next coach.


The boosters were even ready to make the move at the e d of last year, but Hart hadn't had enough time to secure a big enough replacement.

If Hart has not made a decision yet, the rock is not going to make a difference.

There is no need to publicly air our dirty laundry. What possible good can come from it?

We will get through this situation, but acting like Auburn fans is beneath us and only makes things more difficult for the players.

I agree with you. So many people would cut off their nose to spite their face.

If they think recruiting top 15 classes sucks because it is mid-pack in the SEC, realize it could get worse...MUCH worse.

Find another team that has recruited as well as we have who has similar results on the field the past 4-5 years. You won't find many if any. We are in a precarious situation, where things could go down hill quickly if players and recruits feel that the fan base turns irrational. We have a great ambassador in the NFL in Peyton Manning and others, but we have to realize he will be gone soon. We need to show our current and future players that we will always stand behind them so when they leave campus that they sing the praises of Ole Rocky Top, that they proudly announce that they played for the University of Tennessee on game day.

To even believe that this coaching staff or this administration is okay with not winning is a leap of logic that even Volnation should be ashamed to make (and remember this is a message board that has anointed Gruden as our next coach, pronounced Randy Shannon as our DC, predicted blow out wins/losses against every team we have played et al). These people want to win. No they are not currently getting it done, but we cannot cut our players throats because of our anger, we cannot cut either this staff or future staffs legs from under them by being so irrational as to run off every recruit that might still be interested in our troubled program.

I am as confounded and as disappointed in what happened last night as anyone can be. I believe that our coaches want it, our talent on the field last night should have guaranteed a win, but we found a way (again) to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Perhaps that means it is time for a regime change, but let the administration, the boosters and the staff work on that. We need to support our players, the University, and the program because that is the only thing that we really can do to effect positive change.

Just my humble opinion.

Can't say it much better than this. The said thing is that last night would've been considered a big win, yet we were the more talented team.

Fire yourself. Dooley is bad for recruiting. Promoting mediocrity is not going to get us into the top half of this league in recruiting.

Why is it hard to understand that the fans can want a new coach AND also not resort to moronic, childish name calling on a prominent landmark.

It actually does not make it more likely that Dooley will be fired and essentially says to any potential replacement - "could be your name here". I'm sure Gruden is impressed.

I think the fans that do stuff like this deserve Dooley.

So hide the facts from the recruits ? You don't think recruits sees the circus that's going on here ? It's not like Dooley was bringing in elite talent. They obviously don't understand, why would recruits want to come to a fan base like this, crazy!!!!!! I SURE IN THE HECK WOULDN'T!!!!!!!!:loco: Its hard enough to get recruits being in Tennennsse. Guys, give him time. we have a decent team. They just need to pull together, study videos better, and understand what they r suppose to be doing<<<< completely (you know while in the game and under pressure). Just to many busted plays.
