The refs.....

No wonder the best whine comes from Tennessee. The team has been on the best end of luck in football for weeks and one loss its the refs fault suck it up losers

Refs a little on the blind side tonight? Probably.

However. You can't blame a loss like this on the refs when you turn the ball over 6 times .

Turnovers was the sole reason we lost this game. Bar none. The refs this game did suck. They were terrible and costed us several drives with bull crap calls.

That hit on the kickoff return that caused a fumble was obvious targeting. They replayed it several times and yet LaVerne and Shirley made no mention of it even though it was obvious.

According to Gary it is ok when a UT player is targeted. Against UGA when the UGA player knocked Dobbs out of bounds with a helmet to helmet hit right before he threw the INT. Gary's comment was that you couldn't blame the UGA player because Dobbs was still moving forward and had alreasy had some good runs. No mention. of the head shot and he was obviously awarevBulletinof it because after Fobbs thre the INT Gary said it looked to be because he was rattled after taKkkjing the helmet shot. And of course Verne is Gary's Ed NcMahon and babbles nonsense.

The REFS we have have in College ball right now hate the VOLS period they grew up in the 80's and 90's and the VOLS beat their teams so they hate them IMO. And Bama controls everything and know if the VOL train ever gets started again they are in trouble we need a investigation into this LMAO

Guys that was not targeting on the Berry fumble. They don't call targeting unless they consider the ball carrier defenseless. I wish it was, l would've felt great joy seeing that dude ejected. Yes the guy lead with the crown of his helmet and hit Berry in the head, but they were both facing each other moving forward. Games would take 7 hours to play if they called targeting on plays like that. I hate targeting, and I think they need to take the ejection part out of it, throw the flag and be done with it.

You could hear Gary getting excited every time ATM made a big play. It was disgusting to listen to as a Tennessee supporter. I usually don't give the refs a hard time, but their biased calling was asinine.

That's the best conspiracy theory I've heard in a while.

UT had opportunities to win. They made too many mistakes. The officials were TERRIBLE.

I'd say they had a lot of home cooking.
Refs really called the game for A&M.
And we didn't help matters by giving them the ball over and over. But hats off to these players they won't quit.

The one noncall that really hurt was McKenzie being held on their throw down to the two. The most blatant hold of any game I've seen.

Horrible called game by the refs, granted we have the benefit of at home replay, but the no call against Berry and the call on Bates ?! C'mon man !!!

Explain to me how I'm wrong. So when a player tackles a ball carrier, who is running, cutting, spinning, doing whatever they can to not get tackled, and hits them in the head they should be flagged and ejected? Berry runs like a 4.4, and is hard as he** to bring down. The A&M guy made a play, he hit him in the head, but it was not a defenseless ball carrier. They do not call that targeting, like I said games would take forever.

Ask JRM if that call is ever made.

Not as good as the past but when has Tennessee actually been any better. I'd take my sooners history over the vols any day

Well then, feel free take them and show yourself out.

And to give a partial answer to your question:

1989-1999, 2001, and of course this year come to mind.

I didn't bother to look beyond 1989.
