Volnation,can someone tell me why if leading with the helmet is targeting,how can running backs lead with helmets hitting defenders? There have been numerous times already that A/M has hit with helmets and no calls. At this point,we are being way outphysicaled.

A&M are leading with their helmets like it's going out of style. That hit on berry when he fumbled on the return knocked the mouthpiece out of his mouth the helmet contact was so brutal. Should've been at least 1 ejection.

That hit on the kickoff return that caused a fumble was obvious targeting. They replayed it several times and yet LaVerne and Shirley made no mention of it even though it was obvious.

Defenseless player is not the only qualifier. Using the crown of the helmet and helmet to helmet are also targeting.. and in this instance it was.

So,then,a defender in a position to tackle can be hit with the helmet lead by the running back and no problem? Seems that rule needs to be looked at.
