Hope they lose those jerseys and have FUN in their usual, beautiful ORANGE unis instead of trying to be like Georgia with the black.... Yeah, it was halloween. I get it, but that was a horrible look. The look on the scoreboard, however, made it worth the ugliness.

As long as this was a one-time deal OK. It WAS fun, and we beat the living dog out of SC. I just hope we don't trot out the black every time we play a big game....

I have never been a fan of the orange on orange. That being said, I loved the black jerseys. Would really have liked to see black pants with an orange stripe also. They could get those black pants in the rotation. I can't understand the hate over those jerseys. Some people are are so stuck in the past,imho.

I think I've mellowed to this view as well (thanks to a more level headed wife). Once a lifetime is a good frequency for the black.

I think Halloween also had a lot to do with it. I wore the pompom pants to the game and ONLY cause it was Halloween, and now they are retired. I wouldn't expect to see the black jersey's again anytime soon.

I agree with the Halloween theme. It wouldn't surprise me if we never saw them again. I thought they looked really good in black, although they would have looked better without the white outline around the numbers. :rock:

I believe Kiffin has made it clear that he is going to do, what he and the team want to do.
Don't think he cares what you, I, Slive or anyone else thinks. And I think I like it. :rock:

Freaking loved it, but the best thing was no names on the backs of the jerseys. It's all about team baby! Go Vols!

agree with the above... I can't believe this is at 77% like. Blackouts only make sense when... well black is one of the colors in the school's team colors. I thought the uniforms were hideous and looked very tacked on.

This just in: Mike Hamilton has decided to change the school colors to black and black. There is a huge bonfire of all things orange in the parking lot of Thompson Boling Arena!

Settle down folks, there is no danger of UT abandoning orange. The black is a gimmick that may be used once a year at most, even though Hamilton has said that it is going back into the closet. It was a fun Halloween night with a big victory. Enjoy it.

I liked them but i liked the one that had been photoshoped with eric berry better with black pants and white helmet
