That wasn't anything personal DeerPark. I've seen Hamilton continuously say no. So part of me still sees orange coming out of the tunnel. But there's an awful lot of talk to be nothing.

IMO that would be stupid looking, I'd rather go with a full black jersey instead of that. I'm a Vol fan through and through and I am excited about the possibility of us wearing black unis tonight.

I have been a fan since 1965 and I don't really care what color they wear tonight just as long as orange is in it.... But as for me I will be glad when this game is played and this issue can finally be put to rest, and we can get over this fashion issue. By the way I am a vol fan and will scream my a** off even if they come out in mini skirts.... O Lord please I hope not

i've never been a huge proponent for gimmicky things like this, but if they're going to do it tonight...they should be solid black jerseys/pants with orange numbers and the traditional helmet. the black stripe would just look bad IMO

I don't know which is the bigger fail, the first person to think that "blackout" meant anything other than the game not being televised on local Knoxville TV because not enough tickets were sold, or the ensuing conversation on that tangent.

That's fine, no offense taken. Let me put it this way. IF we come out in black, the football staff will have played this EXTREMELY close to the vest. Too close for a lot of higher ups in the UTAD.

The Uniforms really aren't that big of a deal to me. If it can motivate our players to play harder and our fans to scream louder then I don't care if they involve pink in the color scheme. If they become a distraction (as they have for Georgia) then that is when it becomes a problem.

Just FYI, this rumor is also flying through the blogging comunity as well. 3sib is usually ver accurate and releases info befor the main stream. This is what they had to say: 3rd Saturday in Blogtober Vols to Blackout Uni’s Tonight
