Does anyone know what time the Vol Walk will be on Sat.? It's my first game, so I didn't know if there is a standard time for it.

I'd rather attempt a complete orange out than a black out. I mean seriously if we go through with the black out were going to end up on national tv with fans mostly in orange and then the rest in black. SC is black!! Were going to have people and most importantly recruits tuning in and thinking look at all those SC fans in Neyland!!

On the other hand, A blackout, if promoted correctly, black uniforms, would look like everyone in the stadium was a UT fan that "got the memo". Even the SC fans would look like participating UT fans. South Who?

I doubt black uniforms happen. However it is being played up in the Beacon (UT's newspaper) The past 2 days have had subtle hints/teases in it. Yesterday's was in the sports section in the Sport's Editor's "By the Numbers" article saying that why have replica black jerseys made if we don't have real ones. And today they had a cartoon of Kiff saying "Coach Kiffin says no blackout for you if you don't recycle your Beacon". I have read on another Vol-based website that someone at the Addias factory in Portland, Oregon said that UT has placed an order for Black Jerseys but it continued to say that it wasn't clear if or when we'd wear them. I do know that the managers are wearing black polos but take that with a grain of salt because that really doesn't mean anything

The factory that manufactures jerseys for adidas is not in Portland, it's in Berlin, Wisconsin. So if somebody was checking in at a factory in Portland, then they're a couple thousand miles off.

Bull S**t, ORANGE is Tennessee's color, Black is Carolina. Who gives a damn if tv viewers think it's cool that everybody got the memo. Here's the memo that you blackophiles need to get....TENNESSEE IS ORANGE, WEAR IT OFTEN, WEAR IT PROUDLY

i mean i smell a surprize. running out of the t in black uni's and orange pants on halloween would be a massive recruiting stunt and you know that would be a kiffin mood.....im going to dissapointed if they dont...

Could see somthing crazy on halloween we have been know to do it before heres quote from volsxtra


The most radical Tennessee uniform came with the "Halloween jerseys" of 1963, orange with black numbers, uniforms that weren't a big hit. They went gently into that good night at the end of the season. A 5-5 season and a new coach in town the next season helped make that happen.

I just received the email blast from Mike Hamilton about this Saturday's game and at the end he says to wear your ORANGE.
