Be that as it may, that's the reality we are facing 14Vols. This is not going to be fixed in 3 years. But if comparing ourselves to KY makes you feel too uncomfortable, fine! Look at Johnny Majors and the rebuild we had to go through with him as a comparison.

It would be totally devastating to the program to fire him after 2 games. No coach would want want to come here. You would have to hire a high school coach. And even if you fired him after his 2nd yr it would set the program backwards. Most of his 2020 recruits would bail, the new coach would get only the leftovers for 2020 and that's a years recruiting lost. The consequences are not good period. Pruitt needs to get thru yr 3 as a minimum. Past history can be a great learning tool.

Maybe so but you would be stuck with him because the new coach would want an astronomical buyout and rightfully so. And not sure UT can afford the coach you want. Pruitt would be the 4th person the University is currently paying buyout packages to right now.

2-3 more seasons of what we have witnessed the last 3 games will cost the University more than the buyouts and new coach.
