Guys I know we're very upset about the terrible way we've played at home, but take a step back and look at what we have done this year. Beat ranked Arkansas, Butler, and unranked but good team Kansas State. We were also picked to finish 13th out of 14 teams, and we finished 3 spots better than that. That's something to be proud of, and something we shouldn't take lightly. The reason we should appreciate it is because DT barely had time to put a team together, and most the players he got weren't even ready for SEC basketball and some may not be for a while. Yet we were still able to overachieve this season, and we were able to do this with 6 legitimate guys who can even play in the SEC all with NCAA issues hanging over players heads every single day. Am I saying I'm happy with 15-15(7-11) no I'm not, but at the end of the day we did better than any of the experts expected.

With all due respect to the OP, I'll be glad when all things UT football/basketball don't need apologists/positive-reactionaries on a weekly basis. From one season to the next, to the next, to the next.....at some point we should turn the corner.

Same can be said about negative-type reactions. How would anyone "turn" a corner with the depth and experience that we had?

Need good recruits, but we're a long way from what we had back when Bruce was here! At most I had us winning 17-18 games and should have. The men's team has a long way to go to get better (i.e 20 wins and at least an NIT bid).

Ironic since half of the posts are about a former coach of ours. Turn the corner.

True, but it wasn't feasible to think this years team was a tournament team.

Did you miss the Sweet 16 team last year? Not sure what your "corner" is, but basketball has been successful as recently as last year.
