Exactly. I mean the man coached Randy Moss of all people. You would think things like this would not bother him. That's why I question the story. I'm sure Da'rick has said some stuff , but I doubt this was the issue. Maybe Baggett was ready to retire or just didn't get along with the coaches. Nobody wants to point out that CDD may have been unhappy with him.

I could see the WR's being upset that the coaches stuck with Simms so long. Maybe that contributed to some of the issues.

If you follow da'rick on twitter you know hes a punk.. A very talented Punk but still a punk.. He only gets a pass at being a punk because hes the 2nd best WR on this team..
Remember We lost To KY Because Bray and Da'rick Didnt wanna play in a sucky bowl game so they didnt give 100%..
Also remember Who punched Da'rick during summer work out because of the way he was talking to one of the Coaches..

Whats wrong with the fan base today.. High profile players get a pass at being punks because they have the talent..
If Da'rick had the talent of lets say a 1star wide out.. He would of been kicked off this team long ago.. But Players Like him a jansen jackson gets a pass

People get mad at me but...

After Hunter went down, no one really emerged. Either Arnett et al were MUCH less talented than we all thought or else Baggett wasn't able to get their best.

Also, the run game never worked... and the WR's as a group were very poor at run blocking. Four of the five starting OL's were the same '10 vs '11. The TE and WR's were different though. Jones and Moore were both excellent blockers as was Stocker. From a coaching standpoint, Russell and Baggett could deserve as much blame as Hiestand.

Dallas was probably the best as a true Fr but just because he took it as a matter of personal pride.

Outside of DR, Vandy got better production out of a much less talented group.

If you look at what you just posted:
WR were not producing
Run game was not producing.

Add that up and you get: OL was not producing. That was your problem. (I believe there were injuries. Im sure someone will bash me if Im wrong! haha) Anyways, I think there were OL injuries. Your QB got hurt. Your back up QB was dinged.

Heck, you had to pull a 3rd string kicker off his couch for the MTSU game.

I think, more than anything else, your injuries just took their toll on the team.

I don't like punks either.. I honestly had not heard the rumor that DR had gotten punched... If he was continually running his mouth I have NO problem with an upper classman busting that mouth for him.. IF it happened..

As far as the 'sucky bowl' rumor I have heard that one and I think it's absolute BS... JMO though..

witch doctor = fail... Hymns is one of the most respected media members in knoxville just ask any of them.. Ask Rucker, Penington, Hubbs, Any of them just ask them.. For some reason this Board has a hate hardon for Hymns and I just dont understand it..
