Kind of sadly predictable that he would use it to distract, and that you'd suggest anyone who dares point that out is unpatriotic for doing so.
Imagine having a President who was predictable and use shootings to push an agenda. That's really sad.

It's one thing to point out after a shooting that we need to talk about how to avoid more of them, whether you agree on the solution or don't.
It's quite another to use the deaths of 8 people in a terror attack as a fidget spinner for uneducated mouth breathers.

I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that within the next day he holds some sort of press conference or press availability where he stands there and talks about radical Islamic terror and the need to protect against it, and when questions are shouted at him about the indictments and arrests, he will -- in very prepared fashion -- be righteously indignant about how the Press is focusing on that when they should be focused on this.
