How did this whole thing start? How did what he say get out so fast if this was supposed to be a UT thing?
anyone....

i heard them talking on STeve Scebzen show or something like that today and in one breath ripping him for what he said and then saying I bet this happened like crazy 20 years ago but you didnt hear it because the boosters were loyal and didn't tell or the media was locally or what not..

anyone???

A booster breakfast should be private.

There should be lots of smack talk and plenty of bacon.

You should have to show your UT tatoo to get in -- or name your child Knox like the Kiffin's.

Maybe Kiffin wanted it out in the press and wanted Urbland Wyner to hear it as well.

Maybe Kiffin should say..

"I'm sorry about accussing Coach Meyer of breaking that rule. It was a different violation I heard he has been accussed of. The phone calls were just unprofessional when urban knew the young man was meeting with me. I did not intend to confuss being a jerk with commiting a crime."

It got out the same way some of Spurriers comments regarding UT got out years ago...from someone who heard it and repeated it as gospel. Coaches are notorious for saying things at such events that disparage their competitors, especially if asked questions posed to solicit such comments. Most other coaches know this and choose to ignore those silly things said to your own boosters, obviously some do not.

Again much is being made of nothing and if such comments factor in significantly on the field then something is desperately wrong with the players and coaches invovled. GO VOLS
