Probably 0%. If we still aren't using our 5th year senior backup, then I doubt we see our freshman. I'd rather not see him tbh. I'd hate for him to come in and not play that great, and have to endure a lack of confidence all offseason.

I never said KC was the answer but we really don’t know. I’m a fan of anyone wearing orange but I can’t see JG leading this team out of mediocrity, trust me I’m pulling for the guy. Honestly the most excitement I’ve had this season was watching KC move the ball down the field against Bama. There just seems to be a spark that most QBs give that JG doesn’t.

KC's longest in the bama game was 40 yds, double JG's this game. 11 YPA vs less than 6 for JG against SC. Your agenda and lies are exposed once again.

The PASSES were short. The receivers ran AFTER THE CATCH. You can try to ignore it all you want.

SC played to keep everything in front of them. No huge runs after the catch. Same short pass game KC was running while going 4/8 for 45 yards in the second half.

Maybe you just looked at the stats and didn't watch the game?

What is KC's career ypa and career high for a season compared to JG? Lol

It is obvious I wasn't implying we were in the big 12 merely commenting that a good offense can win u games even without a defense. However, given the way we play we might as well be in the Big 12 but again that would mean our offense would have to be able to score more.

So technically Tennessee lead by JG can only put enough points on the board to beat 25 teams in the FBS on average if we are using an average SC team ranked 55th in total defense as a baseline. SMU ranks 84th in FBS with 27ppg. Did the defense play great? no. Did they hold SC to the bottom 3rd of FBS scoring average? yes. A QB who “just sometimes wins” recruited to a top 15 NCAA program should be able to score enough points to beat the 55th ranked defense who’s offense only scored 27.

RS Sophmore w/3rd OC since he's been here. There's still a lot room for improvement w/his timing and decisions but he hasn't hit his ceiling by no means. I feel good with the coaches decision. If Chryst was a better option he'd play him.

well thats probably because i never really post downing the guy. but i see PLENTY of post downing JG........almost by the minute....no matter what he does.

They can be manipulated to fit any narrative. Honestly, I personally give two sh**s about stats and who our QB is because neither JG or KC is gonna do us any favors this year, as far as a decent bowl game. Vol fans want to win and 99.9% of them do not care about stats and who the QB is under center as long as it means a win. When losing like we have over the last decade, what does it to hurt to ask for change and see what happens? What is the worst that can happen, another loss?

Yes, you are right it should but many in this thread get triggered over the slightest criticism of their particular favorite. Sometimes the criticism is warranted, sometimes it is not. I think most feel that we have tried our hand with JG why not see what KC has to offer, not like we are trying to protect our perfect record. Regardless, the next year or so neither will be our QB but that is just my opinion.
