He was a freshman that started a few games.

As well as he didnt play last year he still had more yards in that season than Chryst had ever had. He was still 7 points more accurate than Chryst. Same td/int ratio and had already faced SEC teams.

I don't know why KC would think he would come start over a younger player with more upside and just as good or better numbers.

No qb is going to have significant success against sec caliber opponents until we have a line that can get a push to provide a real running threat, and provide sufficient protection for the qb to go through his progressions and throw the ball without a face mask in his line of sight
Success starts with the line. This is why this recruiting cycle is crucial to pruitt’s Tenure

Where did I say he was the better option? I said he should’ve gotten some playing time because the gameplan favored his skill set.

Chryst should not see the field unles JG gets hurt or we’re up a huge lead.

JG has not been problem all season so why start now?

What about a career 55% passer makes you think he is some master of the short pass game?

Because he had one good quarter when the defense had slacked off and we made some adjustments?

You didn't see the 4/8 to end the game?

South Carolina’s front seven was aggressive with pressure yesterday.

Was the QB (JG or KC) going to have time to let deeper routes develop yesterday or was it smart to stay with the screens against the attacking defense?

The defense has been turrible the past two games. Have injuries been part of the problem? Don't know.

Jg is a young qb, he’s no Brady. He is literally giving his all out there. I honestly believe he is the best choice and is hobbled because he is trying to find his receivers while running for his life and having to throw on the run. He threw a few submarine style passes yesterday (and a lob that scared the heck out me) just because he was trying to make something from nothing.

Who do you think will start then next year? Shrout? Some other true freshman or a Juco transfer? JG will transfer if he's not the starter.

Isn't that the only game he actually played? The other few snaps he got in previous games were almost all handoffs to a back. Bama game was the first time we got to see him actually play.
