“We probably had more errors from that position than we’ve had the entire year combined,” Pruitt said. “We’ve got to improve on that. There’s lots of things that go into playing the position. If you’re going to play against a team that’s as well coached as Alabama and gives you multiple looks, you’ve got to be able to redirect the fronts and protection. You’ve got to know where you’re going with the ball because they do a good job disguising.”

He does not say that... he say qb and later position... Not once does he single one out. I would think he might actually credit Chryst with his great performance and getting 2 TDs on the board.

He did credit him in the post game and the JP show. JG can't read a defense and his audibles are slow and revealing (takes 2 seconds of slapping his side. Tua did the same thing with a .25 second wrist flick to his hip then snapped the ball.) I believe CJP honored his players by not singling them out. KC is more seasoned and mature and his decision making to throw away broken plays proves that. JG is doing a great job but he got exposed this game. Own up to it, Dvols. The players and coaches have.

OH! your talking about me joining after the game.... sorry thought you were talking about Chryst. Some clarity would have helped... He ran for 5 yards. Then john ran out of bounds... So who is "HE"? How do you comprehend that?

You don't know the play calls or what the checks were.

The grade isn't just whether the play worked out or not. Besides, I don't know how you can say our QB had a perfect game in a 30+ point loss.

He didn't single them out because he's going to play JG this week and Chryst will likely not see play again. He, Pruitt, is justifying his decision by hiding the fact that Chryst is the more experienced and the best chance for winning.

And if you think JG did a great job against bama I'll rest my case.

Sometimes we have to play with what we have and try and motivate what we have to be better. Waiting for perfection that will likely never materialize won't win games.

Other than getting stepped on what criticism can you share of Chryst this game?

And I don't the play calls but I do know that one QB put 2 straight TD drives together and the other one didn't.

I'm really shocked how defensive some of you are of JG.
