The Problems with Trans-ideology

You are essentially describing conversion therapy, which is pretty obviously bigoted and not "newly" so

No. I don’t care what they want to pretend to be. Just be aware everyone doesn’t have to participate. That’s not hate, that’s reality. Beating up on girls, making up pronouns, using the wrong bathroom, etc is the opposite of being “inclusive.”

You look to have multiple posts regarding Riley Gaines and you view of her "grifting", but nothing in the BLM thread about the grift regarding the founders of the BLM movement. How is that reconciled? Grift is grift, correct?
We talked about this already. They also aren't encouraging the country to pile on to a tiny minority group. Sounds like you were calling them courageous, is that correct?

Do you view Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi as grifters as well.
Sure. Do you think they are courageous?
I think anyone who makes a stand for their beliefs is courageous. You don't think Riley Gaines was courageous?
So that's a yes?

Not even a little bit. Whining your way into a political career over 5th place takes zero courage

I bet loving her doesn't include telling her she's mentally ill every 5 seconds like some here
I don't tell that kid anything like that but it doesn't change the fact that there is something wrong upstairs if someone truly denies a fact and accepts delusion as reality. It is really no different than a morbidly obese person identifying as someone with a healthy BMI.

If gay people are no longer "mentally ill" but trans people are, then it's a meaningless term that constantly shifts to whoever conservatives feel like ostracizing

Gay people aren't electing to have body parts cut off, taking drugs in order to transition and living as something they are not.

@NashVol11
Serious question is the trans issue personal to you??? I mean share what you like obviously I'm just curious. You go hard after this topic in general. Not trying a gotcha or taking a shot.. genuinely curious
Not really. I know some trans people, but the closest one to me was probably a former boss at a place I haven't worked in a while. It's just the most glaring example of the general public picking out a disfavored minority group and piling on them at every turn (which to some degree happens with immigrants too). It's also something people bring up constantly and demand a response from me

I feel that now the minorities have more lean way than the majority. Apparently, white men can't be victims of racism or sexism. I'm in a 'minority' but we aren't REALLY a minority.

And the 'minority' I'm in isn't LGBTQ. Let me clear that up.

That doesn't change anything about my post. They were "mentally ill" for being attracted to the same sex, then they became more accepted and now people don't really say that. Conservatives never cared about the label or about mental illness itself, it was just a tool used to be anti-gay then and anti-trans now

I am pretty sure we agree that mistreatment of any group is wrong.

I think most people are of my mindset and DGAFF if an adult wants to transition. The cost of transitioning should never be covered by tax dollars, nobody under the age of 18 should be allowed to transition (surgically or chemically) and transitioned/ing males or males who identify as females should not be allowed to compete in womens sports.

I really don't see how any of that is bigoted.

No, I think the subject of homosexuality has just become better understood. Transgender is and will always be a mental illness just like someone who isn't handicapped identifying as handicapped is mentally ill.

Appreciate it... Just curious..I do notice you get tagged allot... Lol

I never understood that attempted comparison. If a dude is attracted to dudes then that's simply a fact. There is no "fact" that a male can be a female because they just really, really feel like they should be.

I’m just “big boned.”

I have that LSU guy on ignore but I'm pretty sure he brings up "men beating up women" in just about every thread, and Imane Khelif wasn't even trans haha
He gets certain things stuck in his head and doesn't let then go... Reminds me an autistic cousin I have who hadn't let crap go from years ago, that I have already agreed to with him. Lol

Yes it's deliberately and selfishly taking a spot from a female in a female competition. Reports of what occurred in the locker room support that as well as our in to question the veracity of the "I'm a female"claims

She stood up for the person who was kept out of the A final and the one knocked out of even attending the meet. Real bullying is in trying to ruin the lives of anyone who dares to speak out. That's what you seem to support
This is the same as Diego Pavia took a scholarship/roster spot from a D3 kid who just wanted to keep playing football…..it’s the “first kid out” that is the true victim when an athlete who shouldn’t be playing takes a roster spot.

Also, congrats, you took like 12 trans women competing in NCAA sports (within each sport's rules about hormones etc. and largely not winning anything) and banned them from all sports entirely, mainly so Riley Gaines can enrich herself. What a good thing to do. Having the entire country harass a tiny minority group is what good guys do
Riley Gaines enriching herself is the reason she is being as vocal as she is about this? That has got to be the stupidest thing you have ever written on here. It is definitely in the top 5 stupidest things anyone has written on here, and I would be really hard pressed to name the other 4.
