This isn't about your version of morality it's about the law being applied equally for all citizens. If you don't believe that is possible/probable then it's a bad law

That's exactly how it works...do you not vote for those that support your beliefs,? The more local the election the more immediate impact those you elect impact you beliefs. Isn't that the point of smaller government??? You don't like it vote them out and change it

They .gov is supposed to defend individual rights from the group. I'm sure you agree that regardless what the majority of state XYZ wants their government can't ban ownership of firearms.

Yes it's constitutionally protected..at a federal level. Please show me where sexually explicit shows in front of children are??? Also isn't the point of smaller government to be able to make differently applied laws in different areas...ie. the city of New York has acceptable laws in the city as opposed to rural areas because of small government correct,?

There are already laws regarding sexually explicit shows in front of children...the reason for this new law is that those shows were going on hidden behind the lgbtq shield as expression which it's clearly not

Then just enforce the laws you said are already on the books. There is zero point of this except to single out drag. That's it

They are not being enforced equally due the lgbtq protection.....in fact you go to a park, in jeans and sweatshirt and dance sexually at the playground when kids are there...would you get arrested??? Maybe not but take of clothes and you would be...why does a drag person get an excception to doing that

Why is this so hard for some to understand,???? After it challenged the court will decide it's intent.. and if the intention is to single out drag then it's bad law...if it's to protect child like the same laws for heterosexual shows then it's needed

It is the equivalent of saying homicide laws target black males because they get charged with the majority of homicides. Ah no, it targets murderers. It targets a behavior, we can’t help the fact that said behavior isn’t evenly distributed among all races/genders, etc.
