The Problems with Trans-ideology

I get that, but I don’t understand the real difference between being offended by being referred to as homosexual versus gay. Throw a slang term their way….. I get that.

"Homo" is slang, and has almost always been used in a derogatory manner.

I don't see why this is a struggle to understand.

Relevant. Homophobia is a choice. Homosexuality is not.

So it's OK to offend people based upon a label you put on them? You must be a swell guy. Homophobia is an opinion. Just because you label someone as being fearful of gays doesn't make it a fact. Maybe the person just plain dislikes them or maybe you've completely misjudged the situation. I don't think we can pick and choose when offensive language is OK and when it's not. Who gets to decide that?

Your negro example is not even in the same ball park. Your bulletproof logic is bull💩.
In the English language, negro is a term historically used to denote persons considered to be of Black African heritage. The word negro means the color black in both Spanish and in Portuguese, where English took it from.
The N word is an ethnic slur from hell.
Kind of like Caucasian is for whitey.

Has anyone ever referred to you as "hetero" in a disparaging way? Are bi people ever called that in a disparaging way? You added an extra asterisk to negro, unless you were illustrating the hard R.

"Homo" has been a commonly used insult since most of us were kids. Y'all are looking pretty dumb trying to rationalize it.

At the very least, you're in agreement with volgr, and that's pathetic as is.

What if somebody says something disparaging about “the gays”?

I’ve heard gay fellers call each other homo. Is the rap song lyrics rule in play? But Snoop isn’t a bitch - why does he get to use that disparaging label on others?

At the very least, your logic is confusing as f***. But I don’t own a gay bar.

As with anything, context is key.

For example, volgr, being the grade A piece of **** he is, was using homo and queer in a disparaging manner.

I'm not sure Snoop Dogg is the barometric reading we need here.

I don't see how it's confusing.

Usually the minority groups on the receiving end of disparaging terms.

Is a “grade A piece of ****” a term of endearment or are you just being pathetic?

Nobody cancelled Snoop even though he’s got bitches in the living room getting it on. And I think he also bragged about grabbing them by the p******. Your selective outrage is confusing, but I’m just a simple cracker with a public school education.

Have you read any of his posts in any thread? He wants us as a country to return to the morally theocratic middle ages. He's a piece of ****.

Why are you hung up on Snoop Dogg? Is anyone in here praising his music? Is he running for president?

Y'all are awfully wound up about wanting to insult gay folks. This forum has descended into trash since drag queens blipped on y'all's radar. Lol.

What label are you putting on me with “y’all”? Are you even from the south or is it fine for you to culturally appropriate the dialect?

I like Snoop. But I favor the Gourds version of G & J. Must be a hillbilly thing.

No, I don’t follow volgr around the forum. You’ll have to help me out with showing me his wanting to return the country to morally theocratic middle ages. Your moral compass is obviously superior.

volgr is running for President?

'There's a difference between acceptance and normalizing': Kiss co-founder Paul Stanley, 71, slams parents who 'confuse' their children about gender identity branding child-sex changes a 'sad and dangerous fad'

Kiss co-founder Paul Stanley has criticized parents who he says confuse their children about sexuality and gender identity while branding child-sex changes a 'sad and dangerous fad'.

With a post titled 'My Thoughts On What I'm Seeing', the 71-year-old - who with Gene Simmons helped found the iconic rock n' roll group in the 1970s - weighed in on the debate around gender-affirming care.

'There is a BIG difference between teaching acceptance and normalizing and even encouraging participation in a lifestyle that confuses young children into questioning their sexual identification as though some sort of game and then parents in some cases allow it,' he wrote in his statement shared on Twitter.

Nope. You seemed as though you weren't in the know as to why he is designated as a piece of ****.

My moral compass is fantastic.

Once again, irrelevant. Disaraging is disparaging. You're either OK with it or you're not. You can't cherrypick when it's OK

Is it pathetic to profit from selling alcohol in a bar? Some (actually many) consider that to be morally reprehensible. Instead of just saying things judged to be disparaging by the Moral Elites, you’d actually be contributing to the health destruction and shortened life spans of fellow human beings.
