The issue is those folks want to label people as intolerant. I am tolerant, I have to be to stay employed. I do not accept this BS anymore than any of the rest of you do. There is a difference in tolerance and acceptance.

The folks getting it feel it makes them look more attractive. Whether they think it looks more fit or younger, you'd have to ask them. My comments were in response to face lifts and liposuction

So the person in this story feels the same way. Why are they now mentally ill people engaging in self mutilation but the others aren't?

I'm no psychologist but I think the difference is that the trans is trying to change their sex. I would stop short of saying they're mentally ill but I would say they have mental issues

I don't think other animals have this option. Have you noticed dogs opening up their own plastic surgery shops? I think your question borders on the absurd.

If you think trans folks seeking out aggressive surgeries and the girl doing the same to look like a Barbie doll don't have mental issues then I'll just state that I disagree with you

I'm not referring to a nose job. I'm referring to things like the case that started this discussion. Have you already lost sight of that? That can happen when you continually move the goal posts. Let's not forget where we started

I can't help but laugh at the McVaney fellow.... And the article....this is the issue with the transgender movement....if a female is whatever a person identifies as why does one need feminization surgery??? Per he article and what the procedure is called...hmmm that would imply there are physical and genetic distinction between male and female...thus transgenderism is a serve mental illness and those theater seek excessive plastic surgery to firm their "gender" are one ine the same mental illness boat.

a pediatrician? She can’t take care of her own kid, much less other kids. She needs a doctor, she doesn’t need to be one.

The hidden Dangers of 'gender-affirming care': 55% of Trans Women who have 'bottom surgery' are in so much Pain they need medical care years later — and up to a third struggle to use the toilet or have sex, study suggests

More than half of trans women who have 'bottom' surgery are in so much pain a year later they need medical attention, a study suggests.

Up to a third of patients also struggled to use the toilet or suffered sexual issues 12 months after the operation, which sees patients transitioning from male to female given a surgically constructed vagina.

Researchers from the Women's College Hospital (WCH) in Ontario, Canada, analyzed the medical records of 80 patients who sought care from the clinic between three months and five years after having the operation.

Campaigners say the findings demonstrate that complex surgeries like vaginoplasty often carry risks that patients are unaware of - despite a dramatic uptick in the number of gender reconstruction surgeries performed annually in the US.

Of the 80 trans women sampled in the Canadian study, almost 54% reported ongoing pain up to two years after their vaginoplasty surgery. Many had more than one symptom, which included vaginal dryness, numbness, malodor and issues with the wound's healing
