Sorry I’m being so negative – it’s – I’m a bummer, I don’t know, I shouldn’t be, I’m a very ah you know lucky guy, I got a lot going for me I’m – I’m healthy, I’m relatively young, I’m white, thank god for that sh$t, boy. That is a huge leg up, are you kidding me. Oh god I love being white I really do. Seriously if your not white your missing out because this sh$t is thoroughly good. Let me be clear by the way, I’m not saying that white people are better. I’m saying that being white is clearly better. Who could even argue. If it was an option I would re-up every year, oh ya, I’ll take white again absolutely. I’ve been enjoying that, I’ll stick with the white, thank you....

And I’m a man. How many advantages could one person have. I’m a white man. You – you can’t even hurt my feelings. What can you really call a white man that really digs deep: “Hey Cracker.” “Oh ruined my day.” Boy, shouldn’t called me a cracker, bringing me back, owning land and people, what a drag.

Don't forget that you are also a lawyer. You have a license to see things not as right or wrong, but as legal or illegal based on the evidence. So, you don't have to worry about having a conscience like the rest of us.

Asians are considered white people. Apparently we are so blinded by our hatred of blacks that we forgot to oppress Asians and Indians. Then they snuck up on us and became doctors and engineers while we weren't looking. And the cops forgot to hunt them down and kill them. We really screwed the pooch in that department.

That is an odd comment. In my experience, most times the courts manage to reach the right conclusion. Judge's, for the most part, bend over backwards to reach the right conclusion.

I think what he means is that as a lawyer you represent your side regardless. If that means an innocent guy gets locked up (prosecution) or guilty man goes free (defense) that's technically not your concern.

Things like the Robert Garrow case come up in such conversations.

I think that's the case being made...you're arguing a legal position in the manner most befitting your side being argued. (defense or prosecution)

And I want to be clear I'm not making that a damning observation as that's how the system is set up to work.
