1. I understand it's basketball and players are going to shoot, but should we not have known by now that we are not a 3 point shooting team. In the 1st half, we put up several possessions where we came up empty because of a freaking 3 point attempt. This **** drove me crazy.

2. Lucky as hell that Michigan didn't blow us out. They cooled off and that allowed Tennessee to charge back and almost win this thing. I figured Cuonzo Martin would have prepared better for the 3 ball. Obviously, he did not. What the **** was he doing this whole week leading up to this game?

3. MORGAN IS A *****!!! Is this the play that the NCAA allows, especially in major tournament games? Morgan was flopping all night long, playing dirty as hell. When there was 6 seconds left and he flopped when Stokes tried to drive through and he popped up with that goofy ass smile on his face, I wanted to dismantle Morgan with a shovel and bury his ass. Here's to Morgan breaking his ****ing leg.

Anyways, now that's over, good season, unexpected tourney run, just a bull**** ending. Go Big Orange!!!

Every team knows Michigan is going to shoot, every time tries to stop it, very few are successful. That's what makes Michigan a good team. You need to play defense and have them miss a few. They didn't do that in the first half.

We only shot 11 3's. That is not too many for a team with three shooters (McRae, Barton, and Richardson) that can get hot at any time. I think it's a testament to our coaches and players for reining in anymore attempts when it was obvious that we weren't hitting them. These are the type of games in the past where we end up launching 25-30 of them trying to find our groove. We didn't do that against UM, and won our way back into the game.

Barton hit the early 3 from an inside out game. Does anyone recall any other shots by our guards from inside out?

I recall a handful of threes especially in the first half that were out of rhythm and not worked inside out. We didn't seem to get much of an inside out game going.

Not really. We tried to match them shot for shot early on. When we realized that approach wouldn't work, we went away from it. 2 months ago, we'd have just kept shooting.

makes more sense then why Barton sat longer. He's effective with good ball movement and inside out game, but if we don't have the inside out game for him to spot up, our offense isn't set up for him to do much.

The whole I problem is the boys played the first half like they did all season standing around on offense and no defense. They admitted it. That goes back to the coach and how he let them play all year The 2nd half they played to their potential like they have been doing late in season. It's hard to maintain the intensity when you not played that way all year.
