The Play!...that disgusts you

law, seeing that the league apologized to the Gators reminded me of the LSU game in 06 when Russell fumbled but was ruled down :banghead2:

Meh... I've gotten over that. That one play didn't cost us the game as much as it was our inability to stop a 3rd or 4th down play the entire game.

Jabar Gafney catch hands down!!
Tee Martin over throw in Ark game that could have potentialy sent us back to nation title game

I dont dwell on plays that cost us games so i'll go with Travis Henry landing on his head vs Vandy

Mehh... that doesn't stick out clearly in my mind as a play that hurt us that year. If I'mnot mistaken, isn't that the year we couldn't block Alex Brown at Florida? That sticks out more than anything else.

I have to say the Gaffney phantom catch. I still think about that EVERYTIME I see him in the pro's. Still turns
my stomach.

the david palmer 2 pt conversion is up there.

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this play. It's definitely the one that stands out in my mind. I guess the fact that I was in row 1 of the Legion Field end zone that day and was about ten feet away from Palmer after he scored may have something to do with my opinion, though.

Has to be Hershel Walker plowing Bill Bates and scoring in 1980...We led 15-0 at half, and lost 16-15...First year the north endzone was enclosed, and Ga went on to win it all...

Ainge in the end zone at LSU was my low point! Loved to have checked his IQ after that play.

Andy Kelly sacked from behind by Penn St defense, resulting in a turnover and score...on 4 consecutive possessions...

I think of all those fumbled snaps in the rain against Florida in, what was it? 2000?

The Cory Anderson fumble was terrible. Arian's fumble last year against Florida. Gaffney's non-catch.

The second worst for me though was the "Hobnail Boot" play. To me, that was kind of a turning point of Georgia becoming better than us. (It has since changed again.)

But the WORST, WORST, WORST to me was in the championship game against Saban's LSU and the dropped interception that would have helped us seal the game and get to the NC game. Was it Julian Battle? Ugh.

1. With 2:00 min remaining and Vols leading Georgia 31-28, Bill Battle decides to fake punt on own 30 yard line. Didn't convert and Georgia scored to win 35-31.

2. After Cedric Houston's long run to the Miami two yard line, Sanders calls fade route to 5-9 Leonard Scott. Vols end up settling for field goal

3. Auburn coming back from 19-0 deficit against one of Vols' best defenses ever.

4. All the third and longs we have given up over the years
