That was the only play of the second half I've seen--a pick six! I thought the play-calling in the first half was TERRIBLE! One screen pass, no passes to Howard, no scrambles, Worley standing in the pocket too much when it is obvious we have protection problems, running far too much on 2nd and 8, leading to 3rd and 7....Sounds like we've run it a touch better in the second half...

that should h ave been a QB draw in the situation. not throw into the teeth of the defense

inside the 5 yard line? Even had the chance to be first down and goal. Any competent play caller would not put their QB is such a high pressure, low odds situation. Play calling is pretty awful.

Would you have called that play? Or a running play/QB draw? Or play action?

100% agree. At least have Hurd in the back field so they have to worry about the threat of it. Hurd was worth 2 yards for 2 carries.

Bad play call..... I guess. But also a bad play. north had 3 guys on him. Worley did not check down or think to run. He just took the snap an fired to a spot. Again, I agree bad call but equally bad play.

Just think, without that stupid play call, and croom actually getting off the ground more than 3", this should be a 24-27 game, even with the o line and special teams as bad as they are

SOOO close but so far away. Last 2 possessions are turnovers in your opponents endzone, not a good formula for winning games. Empty sets at the goal line don't work, pigs speed sweep is o-2 tonight. Still proud as hell of the boys they are not quitting. I hope they realize now they can play with anybody.

Yeah... I mean if we were on OUR OWN 2 yard line I could understand...but no..

I've been saying this for A LONG time. Our D has always been solid. It's been missleading by our Call Playing.
