I don't have it either. Hoping one of you guys would open it up. Just saw it was written by Jimmy Hyams.

When we were walking into that chaotic, ass-splintering, glorified high school stadium that they have out in Berkeley, the wife and I were speculating about Ainge's pinky and saying we hoped to run the ball heavily. It turned out we were right behind his dad, who whipped his head around and proclaimed that it wasn't anything, that we'd be throwing it downfield all year. Mr. Ainge was, unfortunately, way wrong.

Imagine how disappointed they have to be that this season didn't pan out for their boy....Ainge needed improvement over last year, and he would have been in pretty good shape. Well...at least he doesn't take a sack...at ALL costs.

Ridiclious. We totally change our offense because our QB's pinky is hurt. I'd have confidence in Brent Schaffer doing what Ainge did this year.

Should have run the ball more. That said, pretty good season, considering Ainge couldn't throw accurately 20 yds downfield.

Does this mean in the bowl game Ainge is going to heave it 30 yds downfield most of the game?

I knew the reason UT lost 4 games this year had to somehow be related to an injury. It couldnt be a poor defense or a poor game plan.

Yeah. Maybe the Ainge's can join the Clausen's in their pitty party.

First it was the pinky, then it was cause he had no recievers to get open down field. Now it's the pinky again. I think they had him scared to throw further than 5 yards, his pinky is def. better than back in Sept.

I heard some time back, from a fairly credible source close to the athletic department, that this would come out after the season.

Fire away about "inside sources," but I don't post things like this unless I have really good reason to believe them. This is one that I do.

My question is this: Assuming there is truth in the hidden severity of Ainge's injury, then how bad is Crompton?
