In the meantime, he has given me anti seizure medication to give to rocky twice a day

Phenobarbital? That's what Behr was on. 180mg a day.

Have you ever looked into Tri-Fexus (sp?)?

It is as close to an all inclusive anti-parasitic med we have found. Funny thing is, it doesn't do tape worm. Weird.

Side benefit of the Tri-Fexus is it prevents fleas (non-advertised). We have also found that if a tick bites, 90 percent die and mist just fall off dead.

Knock wood, again, we've been here on the same property for 13 years and have not had any fleas whatsoever.

If we fear there is going to be a tape worm incident (i.e. when our Czech Shepherd decides to gulp a toad, snake, or mouse) we will buy that special med at that time.
