The Perfect Coach

I agree. They were dirty. He also had better talent for his one year. If he had stayed he would have struggled the next year and everyone would have been freaking out just the same.

Can't deny the Lazarus-like miracle he performed on Crompton, though. Can only dream what he could do with Bray

He did do well with Crompton. His offense simplified the game for Crompton allowing Crompton to think less. Kiffin has a good offensive mind...I also think Chaney served Crompton well that year.

Because it was only one season. Had they been here longer it would have been much worse

So Orgeron, who has coached in the college game for the better part of 20 years, is dirty but has never received any kind of severe punishment?

Frank Wilson is still chugging along at LSU.

Eddie Gran is a star assistant at FSU.

Lane is the HC at one of the best college jobs in the country.

Thompson is still here in Knoxville.

Even David Reaves, the supposed bank roller of the hostesses, is still employed at an NCAA school.

Real dirty bunch.

Come on, man. You don't actually believe Orgeron isn't dirty do you? He's scum.

That said, that staff was much better than the one here now.

Yea because NCAA sanctions are a great thing for a program, which is right where he had us headed
If you noticed, Kiffin never got any sanctions. The NCAA's findings stated that it indeed was just a secondary infraction. I thought they would go after him too, but they didn't. So, right now, he's not the sanction-magnet everyone, like you, makes him out to be. Pretty ignorant post, when weighed by the facts.

FBI has trouble catching the mafia and they have better resources and more manpower than the ncaa. A crook is a crook whether they get caught or not. What is your point?

Not saying anything about Gran, Wilson, Thompson, or any coach no longer with kiffin btw.

Innocent until proven guilty means nothing to you I assume.

May have missed my point. Not being caught does not equate innocense.

I did not like their lack of respect for my university...they were not that successful. kiffin even said 2010 and 2011 would be rough.

They showed highlights of players they coached? The horror.

Black jerseys? Oh no, Tennessee has never had black jerseys, oh wait...

They put up pictures of Heisman winners they had a hand in getting the award? Oh my God, what where they thinking?

The maxims were read, the torchbearer stayed intact and no one "disrespected your university".

You sound like a scorned woman.

They left for a raise. It happens in big business.

Ummm, did not know how deep your crush is. Wow!

Kiffin did not say the maxims, the players did.

I am very happy that he got his dream job.

Can we agree that you liked kiffin, i did not.

I think we both want the best for Tennessee.
Since I went to college at the University of Tennesse, Knoxville, so yes it is MY university. Is it yours?

People like you frustrate the s*** out of me. If you could comprehend logical thinking which you obviously can't, maybe you'd understand. Never did I say he was a "sanction-magnet." It is my belief that had Kiffin and Co. stayed at UT, there would have been problems down the road.
