Well I picture the perfect coach carrying around some nunchucks. I didn't see it on the list.

I like that Kiffin is on the cover page. If his buyout wasnt so lame to get out of here. We would still have the perfect coach.

If he had stayed longer, penalties were sure to follow

You are absolutely correct. Violations were sure to follow Kiffin. I am not sure if Kiffin intentionally violated any NCAA rules, but to get an edge, on recruiting, he would push the envelope to the very limit.
I would rather have Dooley; at this point, than to have retained Kiffin and been in trouble with the NCAA.

And only have half of the kids he signs make it on campus, while the other half get kicked off the team for drugs or robbery! Yeah we sure let a good coach get away! Him going to USC was good for both of us. Now he doesn't feel like he has to push the envelope when recruiting, and Dooley is recruiting good classes here the right way. It's a win win

Personally, watching Kiffin's interviews now, he has obviously done some growing up. He was a reckless kid within the range of becoming a good leader...bit everyone has to make some mistakes to learn the proper etiquette.

"good decisions are

Kusually result from experience. Experience usually results from bad decisions."

Good effort, but you will never convince the kiff-sniffers that he was trouble.

I want a coach that truly understands the importance of Tennessee football history, that the SEC is king, also the importance os southern heritage.

kiffin lost me when he TOOK DOWN photos of great Volunteer football players and replaced them with socal players. Really? He was, is and forever be SCUM for that. After he left the S.O.B. was directly quoted on rhome(?spelling) show " I never did like that YELLOW color at Tennessee. Really, you can support that and still consider yourself a Volunteer...

kiffin was dirty heart mind and soul with no respect for the Vols. i like him being a coach at socal. Never ever here again. vandy may have kiff-lite...only time will tell.

You are ignorant If you don't think UT would have ended up in trouble. His whole crew was dirty.

I agree. They were dirty. He also had better talent for his one year. If he had stayed he would have struggled the next year and everyone would have been freaking out just the same.
