I’m not putting anyone in their place. Have you read any of it? Seriously? It’s laughable to think we should actually fire Pruitt. But if a person wants to say what they feel, this is the place! I’m all for it! But that doesn’t make it any less hilarious and unrealistic. But say it! Tonight is like an online version of drunk Vol Calls! Ha!
Envious that you are not pissed of like the rest of us. Glad you care enough to start a thread, but don’t care enough to be pissed. Wish I could be like that. Probably make football season easier to watch.

Of course I’m concerned. But not to the level that I believe firing Pruitt after 1 season is the answer. Look around the NCAA. Florida St is a mess, Chip Kelly isn’t the savior everyone thought he was and Scott Frost is actually human. We will return to prominance and I believe sooner than later. But it will unfortunately take more time than any of us want to wait.

I think literally one or two people have suggested firing Pruitt now. Is that thread worthy?

This thread just reminds me of the people calling everyone chicken littles years after year. Well, guess what? The sky frickin fell.

Having a basic understanding of contracts and why we can't fire Pruitt now doesn't mean you can't think Pruitt was a bad hire. There have been a lot of alarming things this year that have brought Pruitt's coaching ability into question. I'd love to be wrong and I hope I am.

Oh I’m plenty pissed. But more so at Butch and his crappy staff. Their lack of player development is why we’re where we are. I hate the fact he actually stood on our field with a bammer shirt on and smoked a cigar on our locker room as if he actually did something! I hate what he did to our great team.

But being pissed about a game tonight just isn’t worth it. My wife had a biopsy done last Friday and we got the news Tuesday that the mass they found was NOT cancer! Reports like that help put things in prospective and keep you level headed. My suggestion is to find something more important the football if it makes you that angry. 😉👊🏼

Hallelujah on that. News like that puts everything into perspective. I applaud you on that and celebrate the great news with you.

Some things are bigger than football.

A lot more entertaining than Tennessee Volunteers football, I’ll give you that.

OP, yes you would think we were preseason picks to make college playoffs. We’re sitting 5-7 were 90% thought we’d be. We have beaten two top 20 teams and def have had ups and downs. However, there have been a lot of things this teams has made progress, and some where there wasn’t much. But we have improved, but definitely need more ballers without bad habits.

My thread was to bring attention to the vast amount of threads/posts that were outrageous. I wasn’t telling anyone why they were wrong or right. Just stating that I love the passion of VolNation.
Pruitt made some bad in game decisions this year, absolutely. The only thing I’m hanging my hat on is his reputation as an elite recruiter and player developer. That’s what we’ve been missing since Fulmer left. If he can do that, we will be fine. It’s my hope that his game day decisions will improve with experience.

...lost their collective minds. Lol. The threads tonight are pure gold. This one won’t come close, I know. But man, reading some of these posts are better than people watching at Walmart. Lol. I love my VOL family.

You should have listened to Football Finals with Fuad. It would have really been a knee slapper for you. You would have been like "lololololololol"

It's laughable to think they would fire him and way, way more laughable to think the Krispy One would even consider it.
