I’m not putting anyone in their place. Have you read any of it? Seriously? It’s laughable to think we should actually fire Pruitt. But if a person wants to say what they feel, this is the place! I’m all for it! But that doesn’t make it any less hilarious and unrealistic. But say it! Tonight is like an online version of drunk Vol Calls! Ha!

It's been interesting. The negavols have been predicting that Vandy would blow UT out all week. Now that it's happened it is horrible and unexpected and Pruitt should be fired.

Seriously, if Pruitt didn’t have a buy out, I’d fire his ass today. 12 game of the year and they looked worse than ever.

You’re mad and I get it. As am I. But for a second, think what that would do for this current recruiting class and even next years class. Also, what coach would you go hire? Who would want to go to a place with this kind of instability? Do you really believe a top level coach would want to go to a school that fired a coach after 1 year? We have Pruitt because no one wanted to endure this rebuild. And we’re not just talking about the actual team. The BOT is a train wreck, the school admin is even more unstable than the football program and the talent level is abysmal. Pruitt may not be the answer but we won’t really know until we give him 3 years. And at the very least, we know he will recruit top notch SEC players.

Yeah, it's kind of like cutting off your nose to spite your face. You'll get rid of the nose, but now there's a big hole there that's a much worse situation. That's even if it was a viable consideration in the first place, which I don't think it is. We saw the ups and downs this year. We're reeling from the final outcome of the last game and no bowl, losing record, last place in East, and loss to Vandy, but the notable wins over Top 25 ranked conference teams showed us the ups side of it, objectively. With a season under his belt and the recruiting, the staff should be more confident and find a way to hold themselves accountable for maintaining a consistent team performance all season that resembles those wins when they were prepared to win. That's in contrast, of course, to the Yin-Yang of Beat #11/12 Kentucky and Auburn then lose to South Carolina, Missouri, and Vandy as if the winning team from before was abducted by aliens and replaced with clones.

We finished about where everyone thought pre-season. I think myself included got on the hype train after Kentucky. Winning seasons are on the horizon. Some of y’all are going to have a break down tonight. Go Vols!!!

Of course I’m concerned. But not to the level that I believe firing Pruitt after 1 season is the answer. Look around the NCAA. Florida St is a mess, Chip Kelly isn’t the savior everyone thought he was and Scott Frost is actually human. We will return to prominance and I believe sooner than later. But it will unfortunately take more time than any of us want to wait.
