Yeah, it's kind of like cutting off your nose to spite your face. You'll get rid of the nose, but now there's a big hole there that's a much worse situation. That's even if it was a viable consideration in the first place, which I don't think it is. We saw the ups and downs this year. We're reeling from the final outcome of the last game and no bowl, losing record, last place in East, and loss to Vandy, but the notable wins over Top 25 ranked conference teams showed us the ups side of it, objectively. With a season under his belt and the recruiting, the staff should be more confident and find a way to hold themselves accountable for maintaining a consistent team performance all season that resembles those wins when they were prepared to win. That's in contrast, of course, to the Yin-Yang of Beat #11/12 Kentucky and Auburn then lose to South Carolina, Missouri, and Vandy as if the winning team from before was abducted by aliens and replaced with clones.
