Duke loses 53-52. The Lady Vols face #13 Marist tomorrow at 11:30. I think it's quite possible Pat can bring another national title home this year.

I think they're capable of it. I don't Carolina was as good as they where earlier this season, and Duke lost. The only teams I think we will worry about are OU and UCONN and we beat them earlier this year.

Feel bad for the Duke girl who missed 2 FT's with .1 seconds left. They lost by 1 FYI OWB.

Great, now if someone would take care of Ivory Latta and UNC. Maybe the LV's will have to do that themselves.

UConn and NC need to be both eliminated. And the Tennessee women have found ways to lose games they shouldn't have lost. I wouldn't take this Marist team likely. But I think the Lady Vols will come out the winner.

Marist is good at playing defense and they don't turn the ball over to much and they ranked high in assists. Their cinderella season will probably come to an end, the Lady Vols should win by atleast 20

She is battling breast cancer for the third time now, and this time it has metastized, or spread to the bone. They had an interview with her this afternoon and there were tears rolling down her cheeks. Showed her during one of her chemo treatments. She has been battling it on and off since 1989. So sad. She looks kind of bad. Once it spreads to the bone, it really is too late. So sad!

I was also rooting for NC State too. It showed Kay yow kneeling down and talking to one of her players on the bench and the player had to help her back up afterwards. I just find UCONN to be flat out annoying. UNC has become less of a threat then they were last season. They have been exposed on many occasions and I think Perdue is going to give them a serious run for their money.

I haven't watched too much of North Carolina this year but I know they still have Ivory Latta and she is one small firecracker.

National Championships are to be earned and not to wait for someone to eliminate a potential contender. If whoever we play if we can't beat them then we should not expect someone else to. We need to take care of buisness. Our Bracket let the others fall where they must.

I agree with that sentiment %100. However, it sure helps that Duke is out of the way!!!

Yes I do Agree. Worried about Marist and OK. We do not handle quick guards very well. Latta of UNC needs a can of Whoop A@@ put on her.

I really wanted another shot at them. Coach Summitt has got to generate the Offense or we will be coming home. We are not scoring against dominant teams.

Speaking of offense, we've been generating alot more than UNC has in the tournament so far. I said that they play Perdue earlier in the thread but I was wrong, they play george washington.Yes we struggled against pitt but not as bad as They struggled against Notre Dame. They were really exposed that night as well on many other occasions since we first lost to them earlier this season. Erlana Larkins hasn't been very dominant lately. She's been missing alot of put back and easy lay-ups inside and her free throws are getting worse every game. Camille Little gets easily frustrated and when she does she makes stupid decisions with and without the ball. Latoya Pringle has been stepping it up as late offensively and defensively.

I hope we do get to play NC and that bug-eyed Latta again. This time our girls will draw a line in the sand. Tipoff in a few hours for the Marist game. starts at 11:30 eastern time.
Go Vols!!!

Oklahoma will be our biggest test, to the championship game. We handle the sooners and we should get another shot at Carolina, in the final 4, and if UCONN beats LSU, Geno and Pat will have another go at a National title.

I honestly don't think OU is that good. Courtney Paris is a load, but they remind alot of Pitt. One huge player they lean on and only go as far as she does. Still, we have to take care of Cinderella today.

If ever huge is an understatement, this is it.
