I just happened to go to the Vols Football tab and clicked on past seasons, and although we have had some good seasons since my birth in 1954, we were never a dominant program. I submit that one of those years we were shutout in back to back games by Kentucky and Vanderbilt. So for all the naysayers on Ole Rocky Top, suck it up, pull your big boy pants up, and hope for a better year next year. And whether Butch is here or not wish him well, he puts his pants on the same way we all do.:whatever:

We want to be a dominant program, we hope for it and ask for it, but at the very least we plead not to let us be a doormat program. Is that too much to ask?

In the 23 years between 1985 and 2007 we ended the season ranked in the top 15 16 times.

Take away this past decade, the last few years of Battle and first 9 years with Majors and we have been one of the best in the nation.

I'd like to be consistently top 15 again. Wouldn't you?

Truth hurts huh?

Just because someone says something doesn't make it true.

You guys may want to look something up if you don't know.

Sure Tennessee hasn't been good lately; however Tennessee has been dominant in several decades. From 1930-2008 Tennessee won more games than any.....Any other team.....that is dominance and for a long time.
