The Orange and White game may be worth watching this year

Some buddies and I are wanting to tailgate for the spring game. Anybody know about parking and if the campus is going to be wet next Saturday?

I just hope he keeps it all orange vs. all white to make a true "orange and white" game. That's pretty much the only thing I liked about what Jones did with the game.

I'm seriously considering it. Haven't been to an Orange White game in 50 years.

Does anyone know if there's a charter bus package departing from Chattanooga for the game?

I heard Freak is driving down in an Econoline van to haul up all of VN's finest he can find. He's loading up at the Cracker Barrel off Shallowford. Be there by dawn.

Apparently, CBJ pushed his format with the thought that his way would be more entertaining to the fans. Most of the comments that I read criticized this format. In retrospect, it just gave CBJ an excuse to put mic to mouth. CJP’s format with 1s vs 1s and 2s vs 2s will hopefully provide good entertainment and provide more quality practice for the team.

Last time I hopped in an Econoline at dawn off Shallowford Rd, I ended up in Ooltewah with twenty guys who didn't speak Anglish, doing landscaping.

Great bunch of guys, awesome workers...

but I was trying to catch the 8 AM flight to Atlanta.

Anyone know where to watch the O&W game if we can’t make it to K-Town or have the Dish Network? Much appreciated, been looking around and can’t find it. Maybe online somewhere?

Can't wait, I've been to O&W games the last 2 years (only times I've ever been at Neyland) and Butch's format wasn't very good imo. I'm looking forward to a more physical practice.

As long as I don't have to watch another circus... I'm good. Just play football, not mini games.

CJP is going to bring back some retro activities to spice it up. So far he has:

1) Shower Discipline contest
2) Which DL can line up the furthest off the line of scrimmage
3) Man vs Trash Can
4) OL sensitivity blocking
5) "Drop the Mic" with Jaunn Jennings
6) Advanced CB techniques (10 yard buffer & don't let QB see your eyes)
7) "Shotgun on the 1."

Great opportunity for fans. Enjoy we might not see this next year. Pruitt needs to see what he has, so they have to let them play. I am going.

Never made the trip for the O&W game, but i'm coming this year. Just feels like a pivotal moment for the Vols and I wanna be there!

Me neither, and the O&W game was never that big a thing to me before. But I feel like you do and still plan on driving up from Texas. Just booked a room at a Marriott property in W Knoxville on points, guess there's no shortage of hotel rooms.

Its going to be interesting to see how many fans show up. If it was not such a drive I would definitely be there.

i think it's going to be a pretty good crowd. don't know if it'll be in the 90k range. but i could see 60ish out there....

i think there's some genuine excitement, and Pruitt hasn't been scared to ask for the support from the fans for this event.

i think it'll be a good showing.

My last O&W game was either 80 or 81 and I Johnny Majors signed a mini football for me. I have no Idea where that is?

Of course he was a star running back for Huntland High where his dad was coach at the time which didn't sit well with top rival Moore County (Lynchburg) where they were from.

I spent some time down in Huntland....I grew up down the road in Winchester.
