We have played two QB's this season and last, but it looks like Boo Jackson is going to be out for the year now. Theo Scott will be the #1 backed up by a capable Brandon Jones.

Do you think you guys are gonna come into neyland and win???

This game will be interesting. Vol fan here, but Ohio alum and former bobcat player. I grew up in Knoxville so I've been a Vol fan forever...never really thought I'd have to root against one team or the other. I'm excited to be at the stadium for this one.

As for your question, I think that this will be a better game than WKU but one the Vols walk out of fairly comfortably. It might be a game for a half or 3 quarters though. This Ohio team was beating Ohio State last year in Columbus through 3 quarters and if they would have stayed sound in special teams, would have won. They have also beat UK in Lexington in the last few years and hung tough with Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Frank Solich is a very capable coach and the team has bought into his system. Hopefully, as I posted elsewhere, both teams play well and come out without injury to continue through league play.

Anyone want to share a tailgate with some ex-bobcat players? Looking forward to it.

Interesting to see our intensity level after the UF game. The fan base is up, can the players reel it back in before the SEC meat comes to town.

Next 3 weeks are critical.

With Boo being out, I'm not worried. He was a big X factor who could have cause some problems. I'm not sayin Theo cant but I expect a UT win. Running for over 200 yards, and lettin freshmen galore see the field. Crompton will get the oppertunity to throw down the field. This game is important for momentum. We have to beat Auburn IMO. If we lose to AUB, u will lose to UGA and Bama and be 2-5 with Olemiss and SC still on the schedule. The Auburn game will be the most important game of the year. Luc will be there and if we have any shot at Dyer we will need to beat his fav team.

I agree with the poster who wonders about the intensity level after the Florida game...How do you get up as much for Ohio as you do Florida ??...It'll be hard to match that intensity...

This team with Crompton as QB isn't good enough to overlook anyone or take anyone lightly....Every thing that was accomplished Saturday in the Swamp could be lost with a lackluster effort next Saturday....

I believe the Vols will throttle whatever offense the Bobcats have and Crompton will probably have a day similar to the Western Ky effort...

Tennessee - 45
Ohio - 9

I'll be happy with an inspired, mistake and injury-free game by the Vols....

Ohio U is 10 times better than WKU for those of you comparing the two.

That said, I do expect a comfortable win for the VOLS. 31-3

I'm not really in the business of predicting scores, but I'd think Ohio puts up more than just 3. I definitely think UT wins this one without much difficulty, but don't make the mistake of thinking OU is a creampuff like WKU was.

I don't know. Our offense is pretty pitiful.

Classic trap game for the Vols. Hard to get hyped up for this one, no offense to Ohio.

I'm thinking 27-14 type game.

If Kiffin can get us firing on all cylinders out of the gate then his legend continues to grow.

:hi:

I doubt that it will be as good as last year's Florida game, but tailgating for a night game is always better than average.
