Can I say something, and you sincerely not take it wrong? Cause I can appreciate wanting to inspire others to seek God more for their lives, and understand the closer we are to him, the more it helps us, and others. I don't think your intentions were to come across the way it has. Sometimes we get so focused on the moment, we don't realize how we sound. A few pages, maybe a couple back, you had made a post in an exchange with someone. You all were talking about something you had said to NorCal, and you made the comment about him drinking, and posting about drinking, and it sincerely came like you were "pointing out his sin". People are going to do things that are contrary to your beliefs, I disagree with a lot of things. Two things though, first, I know I'm the least of anyone. I love God, I love the way Jesus changed my life, because I was a mess. I don't post about it here much, but I constantly talk to people in my life about God, invite them to church, try to be what us Baptist call "a witness", but I don't call out something they're doing that I disagree with. Read James 4: 11,12. Look at the context, and it ends with "who art thou that judges another?". I know the Baptist response, "preach on sin", and you can do that, without calling out an individual. Remember the woman taken in adultery that they brought to Jesus? Jesus didn't call her a slut, whore, harlot, or even an adulterer, he simply said sin no more. After, of course, he asked where her accuser's were, and they'd all left. Which brings me to number two, there's people here, in my home, in my work, and in my life that do things I don't agree with, but I don't call them out, because of me. I love Jesus like I said, I go to church every time I can, went to revival all week. I'll sing, pray, cry sometimes, raise my hands in worship, say amen, typical Baptist stuff, but I don't do it for that, it's my way of worship. That said, despite all of that, I fail God, often. Of course I want everyone to experience what I did when he changed my life, but I can't say names, call out what I think is wrong about them, then expect them to listen when I try to say Jesus loves them, and can change them. It's easy to sit back and see what everyone else is doing wrong, problem is, the mirror of his word lets me see I'm in no position to call anyone by name. Again, I sincerely am not taking sides, and hope you don't get angry, but maybe you're truly not seeing how it's coming out. Some of it , especially the post calling out names, cones across as being on a high horse, and I say that as humble, and with Godly intentions as I can. I just think showing his love comes across better, than trying to argue it.

You have a true gift and I'm humbled by it daily.
 
Joe is I appreciate what you said and certainly don't take offense to it. NorCal makes it no secret that he likes to drink. He also pointed out that he says that he is a Christian. I certainly don't want to come across arrogant or a smarty-pants but someone must warn good folks like NorCal that you cannot live that lifestyle and go to heaven when you die. I realize that it will never be a popular position to take but it must be taken.
I ask you this as earnest as I know how, what should I do? Just say nothing and let him go to hell? Which in reality is being a better friend to others, not taking a chance on making them mad or trying to tell them what the bible plainly teaches? I'm trying my best to lovingly warn the good people of volnation that drunkards don't get to go to heaven unless they get born again.
Perhaps I haven't done the best job of it but the truth is still the truth even if I did say it. No matter if anyone here likes me or not, my theology is right.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 KJV —
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Only to answer what you asked about what you should do. Pray for people. If God is truly God like I believe, then he's big enough to show people in his time where they need help in their decisions. We're just called to live a life to show his love, not single people out.
