Is this not a devotional thread? Billy Sunday was a great preacher of days gone by. He fought hard against the evils of alcohol.

Adrian Rogers was the longtime pastor of Bellevue, a megachurch here in Memphis. During the tenure of his hand-picked successor, the MALE church leadership covered up years of teenage sexual abuse done by members of the church staff. The church has recently begun settling these cases.

Get your own house in order before telling others how to live.

Yeah, I read all I could find on the subject. That was Steve Gaines, not Adrian Rogers. There's no excuse for such actions. Sadly there is usually a Judas in most churches. Sometimes more than one. Perverts come in all forms, male and female.
I don't go to church for the Judas' ,I go because I love Jesus Christ.

You told me that my "conversations speak volumes, it reveals your heart".

I said yours does too.

You agreed.

If what your conversations are telling me about your heart are not correct, then how do know what my conversations are telling you about my heart are correct?

I posted it so people can see a little bit of what he says about booze. A bit of a devotional, nothing dishonest about that.

Absolutely I deny it. It's your arrogance and pride that have you thinking that way.

If you would "search your heart" and speak honestly, you would find this much easier and less combative.
